Tuesday Tip/Technique

Hello friends

It's TTT Day!
I'm on a roll with Sentiment dies so how about using the negative of one?
This is Sentiments 4 but you can of course use this idea with lots of dies.
I've die cut 'get well' from white cardstock.
Trimmed the negative to a rectangle and placed it as a feature at the top of my card.
A dotty kraft card base with pastel green and pink bunting on pastel twine.
The further die cuts are Bitty Blossoms and Les Papillions Two.
Nice to see a butterfly - I must be craving Spring!
Another TTT idea where there is no waste at all!

Take care friends, I'm back tomorrow.

Love the colour combinations and design of the card and the bunting looks gorgeous and very cheery, but hand on heart I think I prefer the positive of the die cut sentiment as it's such a lovely font. x

Lovely card Christine, especially as I know I have these word dies on the way to me. Snow again this morning, but only an inch. I hope it goes soon.

Hi Christine
Lovely card today and a great Tuesday tip! I do this already with other make sentiment dies, and I would stick the waste from the 'g' 'e' & 'l' into the negative too....I know, it's sad really!

Hi Christine
Another TTD. I often just throw the negatives away. Now I will look at them in a different light. Lovely card. Nice to see Bitty Blossoms again.
Take care

Hi Christine, I'm definitely craving Spring and Summer, these long dark days have a terrible effect on me. I was saying to my hubby yesterday, I think I should spend the Summer in this country and the Winter in Australia, .... I wish !!!!!!
I'm loving your card, the negative looks fabulous, and the bunting and dotty kraft card are gorgeous, lovely colours. I really need these sentiment dies.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
