Tuesday Tip/Technique

Hello friends

This week's TTT is about looking at dies in different ways.
For example let's take a look at hearts - Classic Scalloped Hearts.
They are pretty but are they just hearts??
Whenever I receive a new die set I run them through the Grand Calibur with
a piece of copy paper, the die cuts always look different to the dies
and it can often spark off a creative idea.

How about clustering the hearts to look like a flower?
You could use the edge of the hearts to create a scalloped border
as detailed here on this memo peg wallet.
This complete project just uses one die set - Scalloped Hearts.
It certainly adds versatility and value to your dies.

Not long now until Santa visits and just in case I do not get the chance to blog
over the festive period, I want to send out this message to you all....
You are all such wonderful friends and I truly appreciate you stopping by my blog each day.
2015 promises to be a busy creative year and I am really excited about travelling
and hopefully getting the chance to meet lots of you in person.

The most important member of staff donned a Christmas hat too!
Now to the important stuff - time to open the Quality Street and sherry!
Take care friends.

Hi Christine. It's good to be shown the versatility of dies, it's often difficult to see beyond the sample die cut unless you play with the shapes. Lovely project too. Super picture of Bella, cute as ever! Anne x

Good morning Christine, I've just got my veggies, fruit and turkey, so I am done ! All I need to do is prepare veggies, and a bit of tidying and that will be that.

I hope your preparations are going well, Bella looks great in her hat too.

Hi Christine, I would love to wish all the Emberson household a very Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for 2015.
Great ideas and tips today, I will certainly look at my dies in a different light from now on !! When I eventually get my new glasses that is !! I got a phone call to let me know not to come in today for them as there has been a problem with shipping, and now I may not get them until January, as as my eyes are really uncomfortable at the moment, I wasn't best pleased haha.
Bella looks absolutely gorgeous in her Christmas hat.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
