My Boy

Hello friends
Today a scrapbook page featuring that special man in my life...again!
It is a good job Elliott doesn't mind posing for photos.
The layout is part of the sketch challenge in this month's Scrapbook Magazine.
A sketch is a brilliant place to start when designing a scrapbook page.
It takes away that daunting feeling of 'how am I going to fill this page'!

My layout uses those favourite Sprigs again!
Sold out at the moment but due in stock again soon.
Also featuring Grand Circles, Classic Hearts, Blooms Four and Stars Five.

On Tuesday there is Introduction to Scrapbooking class - details are here.
I know scrapbooking isn't for everyone but last month's class converted quite
a few card makers!  Many chose to frame their layouts as a home decor piece.
12 x 12 natural wood box frames are available in Wilkinsons at the bargain price of £6.50!
Details are here.
London working day today, this time last week I was cuddling a baby goat!
Truly wish we were back there...
Take care friends and stop by tomorrow.

Hi Christine. I love your scrapbook page ~ Elliott is so photogenic, isn't he? What super memories you have recorded of your holiday, a glance at those photographs is a super antidote to a wet and miserable work day!Hugs,

Hi Christine, lovely scrapbook page featuring Elliott, I do like black and white photos, they have a very vintage feel to them.

Morning Christine, great scrapbook page today. Yes you are lucky Elliott will pose for photos - my children run when I get the camera out! I have never tried scrapbooking - I'm not sure where to start so a layout would be a great help.
I hope you are able to dodge the rain today

Hi Christine. Love the page, Elliott makes a great subject, our 3 hate having their pics taken now, used to be happy to pose when they were children though : ) Back to the grindstone, just keep thinking of what you were doing last week. Take care.

Hi Christine
I am scrapbooking today, so will get a few ideas from your lovely page ,Elliott seems to be a natural when a camera is around as i have never seen a bad pic of him yet .

Well we had gorgeous sunshine yesterday and today it is cold and dull so expecting the rain a little later .

Good Morning, what a truly handsome young Man!
Your layout works really well, drawing the ery to the pictures.
We have lots of photos to scrapbook at the moment, specially with these two kittens running wild round the place! They are exhausting!
I meant to sit and craft yesterday but fussing🐱🐱 those two little monkeys made the day disappear!
Hugs to all

Hi Christine
Lovely scrapbook page and smashing photos of Elliot.
What a great idea to frame a page instead of putting in a book.
Hope your day at work goes well. First day back after holidays, always a lot of chatting to do 😉

Good Morning Christine, what a beautiful page and design, is it right to say photos of a boy are beautiful?! But Elliott certainly looks like a model posing like that. Very wet here in Cornwall again. Hugs Emma x

Good morning Elliott. I have one daughter who will pose whenever and three who won't. Now I have a granddaughter who doesn't have a choice yet!! I must start scrapbooking so she'll have some early memories. But oh for more time ... xxMargaretxx

Hmm, no comparison between cuddling a baby goat, and going to work, is there. Sorry you are back to the grindstone, I don't now how you juggle things as it is.

Great memory page of Elliott!

A great layout Christine and the box frames look fantastic value - so many uses! I sometimes make my cards from sketches, especially when the dreaded 'creative block' sets in.

I love your scrapbook pages Christine and yes, its great when you can get the youngsters to pose for you, I've never got my camera when I need it. Must treat myself to a smart phone!
Quite a few thundery showers about today, spoke too soon when I said I was enjoying myself in the garden yesterday. Carolyn xx
