The Decorated Egg

Hello friends
As 'teased' yesterday here is the full project that I created for
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.
It is a repackaged Easter egg
It makes a regular Easter egg just that little bit more personalised
and the bunting is created so simply with 3D Foam Pennants.
The very delightful Create A Daisy also makes an appearance.
With just a peg at the top for closure it also allows speedy opening!
Please hop over to the Crafty Power Blog for all the step by step instructions.

I took my own trip to the woods ...this is Bella about to take off after a squirrel!
It got away..in fact they all get away thankfully.
The Bluebells are wonderful and the fragrance is quite overwhelming.

Mitchell chose to decorate the Easter Tree, as you can see it is a pretty wire stand with
hanging decorated wooden eggs.
So pleased I captured this photo, not many young men would still want to do this!

Today I am cooking dinner for my family, we've chosen to have a traditional roast
followed by...Christmas pudding!
Wishing you all a wonderful Easter Sunday.
Take care friends.

I'm glad to see you are having Christmas Pudding, it lakes me feel a b it less crazy for making Christmas Dinner today! I had to dash away at very short notice just before Christmas, so we stuck everything in the freezer and said we'd have it at Easter.

Hi Christine. I wonder what would Bella do if she actually caught a squirrel? One of our family dogs when I was a child, caught a very youg rabbit one day, shetook it to my Dad and laid it gently at his feet then looked at him as if to say "I don't know what to do with this!" It was fine, not a mark on it, and after drying off it hopped off down a near by burrow. I love the Easter Egg wrapper. It gives such a personal touch:) My lot would do decorate the Easter Tree too, they love our family traditions and Mitchell obviously does yours too, how lovely. Have a great lunch, my Mum always makes several Christmas puds, helped by the younger members of the family, in October, then we have them at various times during the year. Yum. Happy Easter. Take care.

Hi Christine
Lovely photos today, and pretty Easter tree! Lve your egg packaging too.
Christmas pudding is always better through the year, too much food on Christmas Day! 😃
We're off to Hedingham Castle for a medieval day. I recently won some tickets, so hoping it stays dry!
Happy Easter to you and everyone.

Hello Christine
You made me laugh when you said you were having Christmas Pudding today!
We only seem to have it at Christmas.... but its quite cold today so that seems like a good idea, I have one left in the cupboard !
Strange for Easter.. its my 70th tomorrow ,and I have had sunshine, under the Parasol in the garden, and one year Snowing! Love the Bluebell Wood I could almost smell it!
I have Primroses.... because one Spring a wild rabbit decided to visit my Garden every night, and ate all the Primroses, and of course as he did he left currants everywhere! So the Garden is now a Primrose bed....the lady a few doors down said he did the same to her, and she too has lovely Primroses!
Love the cover on your egg too Christine !
Take care and enjoy your dinner!
Love Marg

Hello Christine. We had our Easter Dinner last night as many of our family couldn't make today. With all daughters home I had plenty of help and lots of fun - but oh so much clearing up. Seems strange today not to be rushing about. Have a lovely meal and enjoy having the family together. Love to all. xxMargaretxx

It's a lovely way to personalise and Easter egg. Standard packaging is very boring. Our family lunch was tender roast lamb with all the trimmings and a DIY Eton Mess followed up with chocolate (of course) coffee and conversation! Love your Easter tree and your photo is priceless.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Hi Christine
Hope you're having a lovely Easter day. I went to my Mum's for a Turkey dinner today which I have to say was delicious as usual. I have never tasted a dinner like my Mum's. We didn't have Christmas Pudding but I hope you enjoyed yours. We had Mr Kipling Lemon Easter French Fancies.
Loving your Easter Tree. I made one a few years ago and it was really pretty.
