Friday Die Day

Hello friends
Elliott and I sat and read your comments yesterday and we are blown away
by everyone's kindness, I truly have the best blog follower friends in the world -
thank you so much!

My gift to you is to write my daily blog, inspire you as much as I can
and keep you crafting!
So, without further ado...Friday Die Day!

This week returning to the Create A Flower dies and it is the turn of the
delightful Daisy - Create A Daisy to be precise.
There is 6 die templates in this set and, like the previous Create A Flower
dies, the petals are all on one die template - here you also have the middle petals
on one die too - they look like teeth with roots attached!
Cut/embossed.
You see...they do look a bit like teeth with roots attached!
I've chosen to start with the middle of my daisy, cut/embossed, curled and inked the edges.
You then attach them to the star shaped base, I cut extra to make a nice full middle.
Keep curling over those little petals to made a nice rounded middle.
Put that aside to dry and then move onto the petals.
There are 5 sizes, I cut/embossed 10 of each,
remember you cut 5 at a time (one of each size) with them all being on one die template.
Bend them a little and ink the edges.
Using the flower bases, attach a petal to each point until you have 5 layers.
Stack them in size order.
Place your centre in the...centre!
A ruler in place to show you the size.
The finished Daisy - oh I like this one too!
I am doing a Create A Flower Masterclass at The Artistic Stamper,
details are here.  In between the Create A Daisy is available to pre-order on the website
here - these really are on their way!!

STOP PRESS!!
Just heard from my supplier that all the Create A Flower dies (apart from Create A Lily)
will be arriving at the shop today - if you have pre-ordered they will be definitely be on their way!
Happy crafty news!

Take care friends and a million thanks again for all the comments yesterday.
Have a great weekend - Elliott has some celebrating to do and yes,
McDonalds will feature too!

Morning Christine, Celebrations and much elation in full swing in the Emberson household this weekend, Elliott so deserves his McD's, and it raised a chuckle from me when I read your post !!
This daisy die is stunning, I especially love the middle of the flower, and yes, they do look like teeth with roots, but how effective when they are curled like this, so, so effective.
Have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

The create-a-flower dies are a great concept and the daisy makes a beautiful flower with pretty leaves.

I had to laugh Christine - Elliott will miss out on his Macdonalds, now he doesn't have to go to appointments so often, so you are treating him as part of his celebration! Lovely!

Your flower is beautiful, but I'm not sure if I have the patience to deal with all those petals separately.
