TV and A Photo A Day

Hello friends,
Today a little sneak peek of a TV project....
A couple of dies that I'm going to be featuring are the Square Petal Top Box and an absolute favourite of mine - Rose Creations.  I know some of you may already own these so I'm hoping to show you some different ideas and for those that have them on their wish list - perhaps they will jump to the top!
Lots of other yummy products too.

Yesterday I invited two special ladies to my crafty studio - Jude and Louise.
They brought along some projects and played with the Grand Calibur and dies.
I have to say it was these two that got me into serious crafting.  I went along to a scrapbooking class
and met them both and before I knew it they enticed me away on a crafting retreat and I became addicted!
It was so lovely to catch up with them and it made the studio feel officially 'open'.
I'm working on classes - so a list will be posted soon.

Also for the month of August I've decided to play along with 'A Photo A Day' and possibly beyond if I get hooked.  Kate from Pickleberry Papercrafts has introduced me to this and I'm thinking
what a good idea -just take a few minutes each day to take a photo that matches the subject for that date.
So along with my daily blog posts I hope to include a photo each day,
I suspect some may be typical but hoping some may be extremely different!
If you are playing along let me know.

So a bit of a mixture in today's blog post.
I didn't find the sweets yesterday - I looked in a couple of shops but I will try again - I do miss Woolworths!
Hope your week has started off well.
Take care friends.

Hi Christine, the sneak peak looks interesting, I am trying to think what you have put onto the flower to get that effect? could it be a glimmer mist? Interesting challenge for August, I will see how I get along! bet not very far!.

Ahhh Woolies - I had a Saturday job there and after seeing my future husband on the bus coming home from school, he came into Woolies and asked me out - bliss! Mind you I was in my wonderful green overall! You've set me off again now ... we have our 43rd wedding anniversary on Thursday!

So happy that you have your shop 'christened' with the 'friends' that inspired you to start this crafting that you are so very good at. You are an inspiration to us all. I have been following along with all the blogs on a daily/almost daily basis. I love to see all the fun things everyone has done and the beautiful crafty things they all make with so many different supplies. It is so awesome. Thanks and good luck in all you do.

Hi Christine, Not going to make an apology for late post - love the Rose Die, very very popular with me,used mine lots. The box is on my wish list, so must try and get it before Christmas, but then again I like the little square box and lid too.
Pleased to hear that the studio is officially up and running and you all had a good time.
Puzzled re the Jazzie sweets, thought you ment choc drops yesterday, guess they may be what we use to call Jewel drops (chocdrops with hundreds and thousands on the top) am I right? Will one of you crafty blog girls put me right on this?
Best wishes, Carolyn x
