Jewellery Gift Box

Hello friends
Today I thought I would show you a little box created with the Square Petal Top Box die template.
What I hadn't realised is that standard size jewellery boxes fit inside it perfectly!

I purchased this brooch as a gift for my mum.
It's from Pia - be warned - they have lots of lovely stuff - you'll want to buy something!
I have cut/emboss the box from patterned white card, creased using a bone folder,
once assembled popped the jewellery box inside.
I created a flower from Spiral Blossom One and a tag (this box die comes with the pretty tag template),
to finish - added a tiny bit of pearl flourish and vintage teal ribbon.
It was speedy and adds that 'homemade with love' touch.
Because of the colouring this would work well for a wedding, anniversary too.
Also, just a few pics of the Birthday tea.
The lovely cake my sister made.
Candles glowing.
And no party would be complete without this special guest...
Have a great Tuesday - I'm off to the crafty studio (big smiles!)
Photos tomorrow...
Take care friends.

Hi Christine, what a lovely little box, it's good that other boxes fit inside, makes something special look even more special. The cake made by your sister is too beautiful to cut up, you are a talented family. Bella is adorable, love her to bits.

This is stunning Christine. I tried to make a box for some Pandora charms but the Pandora box is just a tad too big for my box template which is square bracket - I don't know if all the templates are the same?? The cake your sister made is a work of art too! xx

Hi Christine,
Well I think, at last, the antibiotics are starting to work, though I am still coughing like a smoker (and I gave up years ago..LOL!!)
Anyway, its been so good to catch up, seeing all the lovely pictures and ideas you had for us all. Where do I start...
The most important I think. Wonderful birthday box and that brooch is just adorable. You are a very talented family I see; your sisters cake was just fabulous. Your mum must be so proud to have such creative daughters. Is mum creative too?
I can't wait to see the studio as it rolls along. Your excitement must be bubbling over.. enjoy dear lady. I think as you have many happy times there, you are going to create many happy memories too. May I offer an idea?..... How about giving your studio a memories board/wall. I have two pinboards where I showcase special cards received, special memories I keep around me (even one of my daughters hair braids from when she was a girl) Everytime I walk in the room now, I am surrounded by happiness. As your studio isn't at home, it may offer you an added bond to it and your family etc. Just a small idea.
Finally thank you so much for showcasing the Spellbinders storage ideas (including mine). All of them were great ideas and could be adapted by anyone to suit their own crafting space.
You and I seem to think alike in alot of ways. I too love my readers to find more than just cards on my blog and I think that is why I love your blog so much. So without sounding cliche or condescending 'Keep up the good work' I really am looking forward to the next stage of your creativity.
Biggest hugs Linda x

Such a pretty box Christine, everything on it is just right, less is more so to speak! As for the cake, it wouldn't have lasted very long in our house, we're such chocoholics! I'm salivating now just thinking about it! Enjoy your day in your new studio. Best wishes Alison :)
