Feeling Happy Giveaway!

Hello friends,
I've been so thrilled with the wonderful feedback from you all regarding my studio,
I never thought in a million years that I would have my own special crafty place
so I'm VERY VERY happy.
Kits and classes details will be coming shortly - there will be a real variety.
I'm aiming to have 2-3 hour classes for those fitting around school runs.  Classes in the evening for those who work, as well as possible 2 day courses for those who live a distance away,
(we have a Premier Inn close by so it should keep pricing down).
Running up to Christmas there will be classes galore - I'm always a tad over excited with Christmas craft!
So, to celebrate all these plans I think we need a giveway!  How about a set of dies.
These are super useful for cardmaking, scrapbooking, tags and more.
The smallest one reminds me of a brooch.
So, still thinking about classes, how about some requests/ideas - would you like cards, scrapbooking, altered art - a series of classes to create a larger project or a quick drop-in to make a couple of cards??
ALL suggestions truly appreciated.  I've asked Elliott (my youngest) to put together a feedback survey -
jolly useful these teenagers!
Before I go - not craft related at all but here's Bella after a walk in the woods...
I will clean her up before she picks out a winner!
Just leave a comment and I will post the lucky name on Tuesday.
Thanks again and take care friends.

Thanks for the chance of winning these dies & wish I lived closer! I started running workshops with a friend a few months ago and so far they have been sell-outs...we have had themed classes - I did Spellbinders (!) and we have also looked alcho inks..this month we are having a look at distressing & misting with masks. We've been asked for scrapbooking, which we will do next year...all the best, it will be great! Carole Z X

Hi Christine, can't wait to see pictures of your studio complete. I live a good distance away, so crafty kits would be good for me, I would like to learn scrap-booking, as never done it before! You are so generous, thank you for a great give-away yet again. Have fun deciding where to put everything! Take care Alison :)

Oh Christine, I am still laughing at the photo of Bella. Bless her I bet she had a wonderful time on her walk.
Craft wise, your plans sound fantastic and will see if there is any possibility of attending a class sometime. Really excited about the kits though - can't wait.
The "giveaway" - I have been thinking of buying these dies as they will be so useful so would jump at the chance to win them. Thank you for the opportunity. Good luck everyone.

Hi Christine, I think that crafters would love to make an item of altered art at one of your day classes, your creations are so lovely that they would not want to part with them - if cards were made they would never be sent! Thank you for the chance to win the lovely dies,Toni

Hi Christine, you have so many plans, I bet you can't sleep at night for thinking about all this. I live too far away for classes, but would love to see some scrapbooking kits, using spellbinders of course! Bella is sooo cute, I bet you could spend hours scrapbooking her lovely photos.

Thanks for the chance of winning, you are very king.

good luck with the classes, and the studio and good luck to everyone for the draw.

Hi Christine,
not been to your blog for a few days due to other commitments. Your studio looks really great. I love the boxed storage units, a jolly good idea. Wouldn't mind some of those myself in my craft room. I wish you every success with your classes. Thank you for the chance to win the dies. have a great crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Wish I loved closer to you! Where I live there is a dearth of craft shops, let alone classes! My nearest is Hobbycraft and that is about 45 miles. Bella is gorgeous! I have just spent some time with my sister in the north east and her little Molly is so much like Bella. She became my BFF whilst I was there and followed me everywhere! Good luck with your classes, whatever you decide. Christine x

You are so kind with your give away's thanks for the chance to win.
Bella's coat to growing back so quickly, she looks very pleased with herself in the photo.

Oh my word, Christine - your craft studio is gorgeous!! (I want one!) I have been away from Blogland for a while, due to deisgn commitments, so have only just seen your work in progress and it looks amazing! What a joy to have somewhere where you can share your love of all things crafty and meet new people! I wish you all the very best for the future and hope it is a roaring success!
Thank you so much for the chance to win (this would be a great addition to my growing nesties) which, by the way, I store on magnetic sheets in empty CD jewel cases and label the ends - great for the standard dies, but I suppose you could use DVD cases for the bigger ones! Again, thanks for sharing and the chance to win! Lisa x

I'm sure whatever theme your classes take they will be successful Christine. Your talent knows no bounds as shown by the lovely projects you post. All of the ideas you mentioned would make wonderful classes and keep the momentum going with the variety. Would you consider online classes? Bella is such a character! x

Thank you for giving me the chance to win these Grand Dies. Good luck with your new studio and the future classes, I wished I lived nearer

Unfortunately, I'm probably about 5,000 miles away from you, so I hope you take lots of pictures of your classes in progress and show some of the results. I think you need to gauge your customers. If you have a grand opening, you might have a questionnaire about what they'd like to see in class offerings AND if they'd be likely to attend. Beginners probably aren't going to be too interested in jumping straight to using Copic markers, and Advanced students may want something a little more challenging. I'm a cardmaker and altered art fan, but love anything that has to do with paper, so I'd be happy seeing the results of anything you offered for classes.

Thanks for letting us play along and also offer our suggestions. It's nice to be asked. What did Bella get into anyway? It looks like the stickery annoying things I find in my garden.

You may need to install a dog shower in your studio!
I'd like a weekend class to do larger projects...just give me plenty of notice so I can request the time off.

Morning Christine, thank you for the giveaway opportunity. It all sounds very good to me. Sometimes it's good to make a few cards in a class, other times it would be nice to make something that can be put on show at home!x

Hi
Am so envious of your new craft space. It looks so clean and tidy. Am off to sort out my crafty stash now. Would love a chance to win and hopefully will get to join in one of your classes very soon.
Kind regards Diane x

Morning Christine

I live too far away to join in your classes but I might be able to "drop in" if I am in the area

A scrapbooking class would be great as more people are doing them but I think a "Techniques" class would be good. You could do a beginners class for new crafters and a more advanced one for experienced crafters.

Hope I am lucky and get picked out by Bella for the dies

Hi Christine, I live about 280 miles away but my Son lives just south of the M20 so I will certainly try to visit for a class or two. I love anything altered and things that stretch me so technique type classes would be good, maybe using alcohol inks. I saw an altered mini dress form the other day and that was so different. Please don't include me in the draw as I have those lovely dies already, whoever gets them will be delighted.

Bella is a star! Crafty hugs, Anne x

Hi Christine,
What a lovely generous person you are giving us all the chance of winning a set of dies.
I guess from all the other comments and suggestions you will be finding it hard to decide in what order you will be doing what. But no doubt, as you are an organised lady you will have it all sorted for us in no time! I live a distance away but I like the idea of two/three day courses at weekends or pref for me in the week, perhaps the Premier Inn will be happy to do a deal regarding accommodation if several book in for one of your courses! Best wishes Carolyn. x

What a wonderful prize, and your studio is looking amazing, I can't wait for the classes to start, I feel I am getting a bit stale lately and some time spent doing a class or two will put me back on track :-)

Hello Christine, how generous of you again, as for ideas for classes, I think anything you decided on doing would go down a treat as you never seem to be short on inspiration. 2-day crafting events are a brilliant idea for those that live a distance.
Good Luck with it all.

Hi Christine, I've been catching up on blog posts, your studio looks amazing, I'm lucky enough to have a large bedroom as a craft room, but somewhere away from the house would be great. With your inspiration I've been 'filing' my spellbinders, I seem to have more than I remember buying..... do they multiply automatically or is that wishful thinking ??... Lynn xx

Hi Christine, I am so looking forward to seeing your kits, because knowing you they will be devine, you only produce great things. I am looking forward to the Advent frame with the smaller boxes because I have a few to make for Xmas and don't want them all to look the same.

Now there is inspiration for color choice on a card; natures bountiful green seeds amidst Bella's beautiful hair and dark eyes.

Thanks for the chance to win these dies, a girl can never have too many! I'd love to see some altered art projects - I'm a bit 'off' card making at the moment as I seem to have a large stash of them made so am looking for other things to do :)

Thanks so much for the chance to win Christine - I love Bella's embellishment on her head!! We lost our two cats earlier this year but we do have a feral cat (very very fierce!!) who lives in the garden and we feed him - of course. He usually pops into the kitchen with the same sort of embellishment and I really do want to brush them out - however I need my fingers for crafting LOL!

I am now seriously thinking I could get to do a 2 day course if you do them - that would be something to look forward to. Lurvely!!!

Hugs Sue P xx

PS Your enthusiasm is soooo infectious.

Hi Christine
I wish that I lived near to you to attend your classes, I imagine they will be fantastic, one of the ideas or demos that i'd like is paper piercing or paper pricking as I never ever seem to get it straight all the way around in a square on matting and layering so any tips please. It drives me mad! thanks for the chance to win the dies.

I have done scrapbooking and card making from scratch. I am interested in any and all things to do with making cards and hope to be able to purchase the Grand Calibur some time this fall. I have many such blogs in my 'favorites' list which I check weekly to see what is happening. I enjoy reading about new designs and new products.Christine, Bella looks like she enjoyed herself in the woods. Aren't our pets wonderful companions? Thanks for doing this "giveaway!" Your readers appreciate it.

Hi Christine and gorgeous Bella. I am glad you are considering 2-day workshops as it makes it more feasible for those of us who live afar. I think 'techniques' should be high on the agenda. On a 2 day course, techniques could be day one with a project, using those techniques, on day two. Also like the idea of altered art. Just a thought. Thanks for the chance of winning the dies. Thanks for a chance to win some dies for a senior group. Was able to get them a new die cutter with my half price selection when hostess in June and paid the other half with the extra $50 free merchandise for having a SU party over $450.

Aww Bella bless her! She does make me smile.
I have a feeling that I may live too far away to attend one of your workshops but if I were to, I'd love to see something like altered art, card making or scrapbooking. Actually anything lol! But it would be nice to have a beginners class for altered art. I'm very interested in your 'kits' idea though Christine :)
Thanks again for another chance to win some goodies!
