Carte Postale

Hello friends
I so appreciate you all zipping over to Scrapbook Adhesives Blog yesterday to leave a comment -
goodness there were so many- it made me feel very proud - thank you! xx
Today something a little different.
In this month's edition of Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine I am featuring this card in their 'Help' section.
I was asked to create a card suitable for a friend moving abroad and this is it!
Because it did not stipulate whether it was for a male or female I thought I
would go with a vintage travel look.
The base is kraft cardstock with the edge cut/embossed with Classic Postage Stamp Edgeabilities®
The tickets and little brown label are from the Labels and Tags set that I featured a couple of Fridays ago.
The papers are Tim Holtz.
I thought the twine put me in mind of a parcel being wrapped.
Don't forget if you would like to take part in the July Inspiration Gallery there's still plenty of time, images to be sent to christine.emberson@blueyonder.co.uk by Saturday evening please.
Very important...include your address so that I can send you a gift!
Take care friends and I will be back tomorrow.

What a great card Christine could be definately for a male but with a few flowers so easily transformed for female. I have this postcard stamp or something very similar so will give it a try inbetween making books & xmas cards. Oh I'm such a busy little bee lol
