Poinsettia Notebook

This time next week....!
I still have a few gifts to buy and I need to do all the wrapping.  I have my own little tradition of putting on a Christmas film, surrounding myself with the gift wrap and tags and spending far too long
making the corners neat!  Do you have certain Christmas preparation traditions?

Today I'm sharing a notebook.
The shape is created from Creative Book Pages and so is the decal in the bottom right corner.
The covers are made from a cardboard box!
My ever popular Labels Twenty Two and Layered Poinsettia are here again
together with Lace Doily Accents - I cut and embossed two strips and placed them back to back.
Once I completed my design I used a Zutter Bind It All for the spine.
I was a little scared of this machine at first but I'm getting the hang of it now!
I think we could be nearing the end of poinsettias..but I have lots of other things to share with you.
Thank you again my lovely loyal visitors and for all your thoughtful comments.
Right..must get gift wrapping!

Lovely gift idea. I leave all my wrapping until Christmas eve, but do the same thing, a movie and heaps of tape and wrapper.

Once you get a result from your Zutter you will not be able to stop! A beautiful book, such lovely colours and love the edges. I adore wrapping pressies with Christmas music too, sometimes the wrapping costs more than the presents.........but it is so much fun. Regards, Anne Rx

Your book is lovely! I have never made a book but keep meaning to try, maybe next year. I am definitely buying the poinsettia dies for my Christmas projects in the future - your posts have convinced me!! I will be relaxing with a Christmas film on Christmas eve, hopefully with everything done!

A beautiful idea for a notebook, very personal and it would make a lovely gift for a special person.
Did Bella help you with this? Bless her, she is so cute.
My christmas tradition is the same as yours Christine, tv on and lots of presents all around me. Then I get stuck in until its all complete or I am so tired I can't make those 'neat corners' any longer. So here's to Christmas presents, rushing all around and catching up with friends and family. Happy Christmas all. Linda x
