Look what's ahead!

Hello friends

Lovely response to yesterday's post featuring Tree of Hearts,
the stencils are also featured in this month's edition of
Simply Cards and Papercraft.
We have 7 designs in stock now and Tina is busy creating more,
Hare is my absolute favourite closely followed by that handsome Fox.
You can see the full collection on the website here.

Looking ahead...
If you subscribe to our emails you will know that the new
website and available for pre-order.
Becca never fails to impress and this collection is, as always,
stunning and elegant.

You can see the full collection on the website here.
Due to arrive in September but fingers crossed for a little earlier.

Also watch out for Glimmer news...I'll be back with plenty of info soon.

Oh yes, I was asked whether I will be stocking Papermill products,
sadly no.  They do not permit selling through online stores
only bricks and mortar.  I did love having their product in my shop,
the wall of coloured card was like stepping into a rainbow every morning.

Back in my cabin today creating design boards,
I've also become a bit of a Netflix junkie now while I'm crafting,
so please recommend any box sets.

Take care friends, have a lovely start to the week.

Tree of Hearts and Papermill

Hello friends

First - welcome back Jan on the Fosse!
You must have had a bit of a scary time recently,
so pleased to hear you are home, take good care and take everything easy.

Bit of a first for me...
at the end of this week I was featured on the Papermill blog,
I say 'I' it appears Bella got a mention too!

They featured my card using Tree of Hearts Stencil by Tina Ashton Art,
I had used their lovely Hopsack Card, it really is nice for stenciling.
such a lovely texture.
They also included my speedy video.

If you would like to take a look please click here.
Oh and here's a screenshot where that pooch gets a mention!

Tree of Hearts Stencil is available on the website here.
I recently combined it with Ornamental Arch.

The full stencil collection can be found here.
Tina is busy creating more designs and right now
they are still exclusive to us and still at the bargain price of £5.50.
Also worth mentioning that you receive the mask pieces too
with each stencil, so multiple uses.

Take care friends, enjoy your Sunday,
I'm back in my cabin prepping for Hochanda shows,
look out for the sneak peeks.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends

It's Friday Die Day and this week I'm featuring
This die sings to me as I love the fact that it looks like a gate
and the scroll work is beautiful.
The approximate measurements are:
3.35 x 5.30 in 8.50 x 13.50 cm

I've cut two and you can see for the second one I've sliced the
middle section away.

The chopped sections go into the side to create a circular design.

I've matted 6 x 6 patterned paper onto my white card base.

Affixed the die cut to the middle.

Die cut some flowers, these are Rose Buds,
coloured them with distress ink.
There's a couple of sets pre-loved on the website, but you may have to be quick!

Placed a Fancy Scallop Edge Circle to the middle.

I went rummaging in my die cut scrap box (yes I have one of those too!)
Found this label shape and little oval sentiment.

To finish added the flowers around the bottom of the circle,
placed pearls to the centres.

The way this die makes a perfect decorative circle made my day!

I've used this die set quite a bit recently...

Take care friends, wishing you a brilliant weekend,
bet you can guess what I'm doing!

Proud Peacock and Winning Ticket

Hello friends

I have a Proud Peacock for you today!
This is one of the Tina Ashton Art stencils and I'm really rather
in love with its glorious heart tail.

Using that heart tail I've done a technique by using the stencil to
create a continued pattern, all is revealed in my one minute video.
You can view the video via Facebook here.

And this is another interpretation of the stencil, you'll see you have
the option of the Peacock holding a gift tag, perfect for
stamping or writing a message.

Proud Peacock is available on the website here.

Also today announcing the winning ticket of this month's charity kit.
It was an instant sell out, I wasn't surprised as the Little Bird stencil
included is lovely.
Please have a little look in your kit bags and if you have
number 707 you are the winner!
Please email hope-chances@live.co.uk with your details
and a goody bag will be sent out to you.

Take care friends, have a good Thursday, I have a day off
from city job today to work in the cabin
(making up for my day off at the beginning of the week,
there's logic there somewhere!)
