Drama with black and red

Hello friends

Hope you all had a good weekend.
I had a lovely day yesterday in London, my first trip to
Buckingham Palace.
We toured the Gallery, Mews and State Rooms.
We saw lots of carriages and I never really appreciated how much
detail went into the design of these.
Along with those incredible lanterns, across the top is Tudor Roses,
Scottish Thistles, Welsh Leeks and Irish Flax.

We rounded off our day with an afternoon tea,
Here I am with my good friend Michelle and a penguin with a fish!

Back to the world of craft and how about this for a dramatic card?
This is Elegant Border, a hot foil plate designed by Becca Feeken.

Using an embossing folder for the card base, a mat of red mirror card
and then foiling with red - it makes a bold statement.

Take care friends, wishing you all a great start to the week.

Looks like you had a good day out. Glad you enjoyed it. Something I haven’t done yet is go to Buckingham Palace. Love the card with the foiling. I must use my GoPress Foil. Need to put the Gemini away and get out the Big Shot. Really must if I can do a beautiful card like yours.
