Little Wooden Lovelies!

 Hello friends
Thank you for taking time out of your day yesterday to leave
comments and reviews - I really appreciate it.
I think there were some issues with the 192.com website, I know I haven't been
able to upload photos so they have some real gremlins in the works over there!
I will investigate and I may take the liberty of asking you again once I know
things are sorted :)

Today a jar full of little wooden lovelies!
I mentioned in the week that my Dad makes pokey tools,
each one is turned on a lathe and waxed or varnished.
Every single one is unique and they are very comfortable to hold.
Well, I had quite a few enquiries so I thought I would get organised...
They are now on the website under Crafty Tools and Essentials and
available to purchase here.
I'm slowly including my entire family into my little Hope and Chances business!

There is the option to leave a note if you order a pokey tool, specify what colour wood
you prefer, medium or small size.

A bag of purple and lilac knitted squares arrived from Sue along with
this beautiful card - thank you so much Sue, the colours are lovely and
you even sewed in all the ends!  Very very grateful.
There is progress with the knitted blankets which I will share with you soon.
By the time I'm supposed to take photos the lighting is bad!
I spoke to Ronald McDonald House, Camberwell in the week and they have asked
to have some blankets to make their rooms brighter and homely.
When Elliott and I are next at King's Hospital we will be dropping in a couple
and I will definitely take photos...whatever the lighting!

What other news... oh yes Heartfelt Creations, I'm beginning to stock their dies and
stamps - a little collection at the moment but it will be growing and, as always,
any requests - just let me know.

I worked on lots of projects for Spellbinders yesterday but I cannot share them just yet..!
I can tell you that the new In'spire Line is superb and I've got nearly all of them on
pre-order for the shop and website.
The philosophy behind these designs is that they are trendy and inspirational.
The size work well on its own or can be easily mixed with other Spellbinders dies.
I was going to list my favourites but there are too many!
If you nip over to the Spellbinders website this one pops up on their banner,
Typewriter - isn't it great.
Roast chicken tonight and I'm cooking - I think my family has forgotten
I cook, it has been a little hectic these last few weeks.
Enjoy your day and yes please, we would like some more of that sunshine
that turned up unexpectedly yesterday!
Take care friends.

Good morning Christine,
Love the pokey tools, they look so much nicer than the plastic ones you can buy and I bet they feel a lot nicer to hold. A beautiful card by Sue and the squares are a lovely colour too. Enjoy you r roast chicken.

Hi Christine. I love wood in any shape or form and I know that your Dad's pokey tool is going to be fantastic. I am saving up for one. I'm sure your Mum and Dad are so proud to be involved with your buisness : ) Sues squares -and card- are beautiful (my square is gathering dust at the moment as this weather is not kind to my hands!) Enjoy your family meal, put your feet up afterwards if you can : ) I hope that both Mitchell and Elliott are doing well. Take care.

Hi, Christine - I keep asking my friend (ex pat) in Spain to send me some of her sun, but so far, she hasn't been able to get it here. It's still wet and windy here, so I'm in front of the fire, with some knitting today.

Love Dad's pokey tools, well done to him. Enjoy your chicken today, it's making me hungry thinking of it.

Morning Christine,
What a great array of pokey tools. I have sent and email to you about them.
Lovely squares and a very pretty card from Sue, like the way she's coloured matched the two.
Enjoy your roast chicken, not cooking myself as my hubby is not feeling well, not worth doing a roast for one.

Hi Christine, lovely blog post today..those pokey tools are brilliant! I finally got to leave a review on 192 last night...the problem I had is that I wasn't getting the verification email...anyway, I went back in and re-registered, finally using my other email address and that was fine - very odd! I'm going to duck now, because I know I'm in the minority, but not a Heartfelt Creations fan! Their stamps I have never get used & nothing I've seen, even by their DT, really convinces me to add more..a challenge Christine, maybe you can show some of your creations with them and convince me otherwise! LOL Hugs Carole Z XX

Hi Christine. Wow, I love your dad's pokey tools. They'll probably sell out before I can order one - so tell him to keep them coming! I think it's great that your family is so involved. I'm having to be disciplined on the buying front at the mo as there are so many Spellbinders I 'need' including some of the In'spire range and ones that may need special ordering. I'm also interested in Heartfelt Creations: Oh dear!

Hi Christine, Loving the piccies, your Dad is so talented, the pokey tools look fabulous.
The knitted squares and card made by Sue are stunning.
I especially love Heartfelt Creations, I love their stamps, their co-ordinating dies and their fabulous paper collections. The Majestic Blooms die and stamp, cuts out 12 flowers at the same time, I have spent ages cutting out these fabulous flowers recently, and they look stunning.
I hope you enjoy your roast dinner. Enjoy your day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
