The Pom Poms!

Hello friends
I mentioned yesterday that the pom poms are breeding,
that would have something to do with the fact that I
cannot stop making them!
Pom pom bunting next!
I did come across this idea which I love....
Pom pom place cards/markers.
I've used Ribbon Banners as the die for our names and inserted memo pins.
I'm thinking in red at Christmas (only 337 day to go!)
In white for anniversaries and weddings, multi coloured for birthday parties, ...okay
I'm getting carried away now!

If you are coming along to the first Coffee and Create class on 4 February remember
to bring some wool of your colour choice if you fancy making more pom poms,
I think I've got makers of every size now!
I do not stock the pom pom makers but they are available to purchase here.

Talking of classes, I am uploading more and at last I have sorted some shop opening hours!
Sadly I cannot quite open full time just yet, still juggling hospital appointments
and the London job.  So, from 1 February the hours are....

On Tuesday mornings the shop is open for Coffee and Create and
on Sundays there will be half/full day classes.

I am also pleased to announce that Nikki Payne who has
recently been appearing on Create and Craft is visiting my studio/shop
to teach a class.  Nikki and I met some time ago and she has kindly agreed
to come along, her projects are absolutely beautiful.
News to follow on that so please keep checking the Classes tab on the website.
I've been totally absorbed in joining the knitted charity squares which I love doing -
it is very relaxing and before I know it, half the day has gone!
Today is opticians day -
I wonder what the world will look like through new glasses?!

Take care friends.

Morning Christine,
I was thinking (that made the brain hurt) what the collective name for lots of pom poms could be, a circle perhaps, any idea ladies? They look lovely.
Pleased to see that you are getting back into the swing of things, it must have been so hard for you over the past months.
Take care.

Hi Christine

love the pom poms. so pleased you are able to open your shop more, lucky you people who live nearish to Christine's shop that Nicky will be doing a demo. But a sort of complaint. Why do all the demonstrators and all the people who run really good shops seem to live either up North or down South. We never seem to get a look in in Oxfordshire as either way is to far to travel. I'd arrange holidays around craft shops, but I don't think my partner would be to happy about that.

I already had the medium makers, so of course I had to order the next size up - you will be the death of me, the way I am spending at the moment. LOL

Hi Christine. Love the "poffle(?)" of pom poms and the place names. Lydia asked for ideas of what a collection of pom poms could be called and poffle sprang to mind straight away! So glad that you are able to start opening the shop and run some classes etc. Christine. Like Pat S from Witney I too live in Oxfordshire and I totally agree. We don't have any decent shops or demonstrators around here : ( or if there are we don't know of them! Have fun at the opticians. Take care.

Hello Christine, Gosh looking at the pom poms takes me back to my childhood with the cereal packets and lots of small balls of wool, and very uneven pop poms.
Yet another step towards your goal putting times on the door.
X Ros
