Progress....

Hello friends

London working day today and apparently the weather is turning VERY cold.
Perhaps I should take a blanket on my commuter coach...talking of blankets...
the Blanket of Love..some more progress.
What do you think about mini pom poms all around the edge?
I'm not quite sure how I would secure them but if we think it's a
good idea I will investigate.

More lovely squares have arrived. Thank you Maddie.
Such pretty colours.
And blue and white squares from Gemma, in fact I need to send Gemma
huge thanks because...
she also sent this item of gorgeousness - a beautiful scarf that she has knitted for me.
Gemma said it would keep me warm in Bella's Woods.
I think it is far too nice to wear in the woods, I want to show it off to everyone.
I am really lucky to know such kind people,
thank you so much - it truly warms my heart.

And..talking of walking Bella - it is like playing weather roulette a the moment!
So far I've been managing to dodge the rain but it always seems to be threatening.
This is the creepy tree at the park, well I think it is a little bit creepy
and we walk fast to pass it! (Yes, I'm a little bit mad).

Classes:
Delighted that classes with both Nikki Payne and Marion Emberson
are booking up, both ladies have got some wonderful things planned.
Elliott has been busy making sliders/banners for them on the website too.

Little snippets of news today but stop by tomorrow,
it's that special die cutting day of the week and there's an addition
to the format too!
Take care friends and keep warm!

Morning Christine. The blanket of love is looking gorgeous but not sure about a pompom edge~could be a bit too tempting if it was for a child! Enjoy your workday.Take care, hugs,

Wow, Christine the blanket is looking great! Love the scarf, what a lovely, thoughtful present and you are right, far too nice to wear in the woods! There used to be a 'lightening' tree at a local arboretum, it was a bit creepy but nevertheless enchanting..but last year it was destroyed in a storm and I was quite upset, still miss it when we walk past :) I'm off to work too, let's hope we have a good day! Hugs Carole Z X

Morning Christine,
The blanket is looking great, I love the centre square. Hopefully your creepy tree won't be so creepy when it comes alive in the spring. Wow, love the scarf that Gemma made, how about a picture of you wearing it. Have a good day at work.

The blanket is looking great love the colour variety. Love the pom pom idea but may not wash too well. You can buy pom pom edging already made up but I guessed you was going to make your own. Love your scarf. Have a great day xx hazel

Morning Christie, the blanket is looking good, love the pom pom idea, if I had a blanket with them on I can see the cat playing with them. Beautiful scarf from Gemma. Emma xx

Morning Christine, The blanket is looking stunning, and I think pom poms (small ones) around the edge would be fabulous.
The scarf you received is stunning, anyone would love a pressie like that.
I agree, the tree does look creepy, hopefully in the summertime it looks better when all it's foliage is on haha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hello Christine, I like the idea of small pompoms around the edge,as I think they will add weight to help it stay in place.
How kind of Gemma to send you a scarf, it looks so soft and warm.

Hi Christine. The blanket is looking great. I think small pom poms would look lovely (in white to match the joins?) Sure it would be fine as long as it's securely fastened on if it is for a child. Gemmas scarf is gorgeous, it looks so snuggly and warm :) The poor tree, ok it doesn't look great at the moment but then nor do I without any clothes or make up on!!! :)) Oh dear, not a nice mental image....sorry about that :) Hope you have a good day and don't get too cold. Take care.

Hey, Christine! The blankets are starting to take shape now and look wonderful! Well done to all those that have sent in squares for such a good cause - I would have contributed if I could fathom out how to use 2 needles! I gave up on knitting as every square I made, practising, was a different size and shape!
Love the scarf that Gemma sent you and I'm sure it'll keep you snuggly and warm, wherever you wear it! Hugs, Lisa x
