Back to work...

Hello friends
Yes, all systems go, full steam ahead and all that!
Elliott still has numerous weekly appointments both at The Royal Marsden and at
King's College Hospital but it does feel nice not to be racing along the M25 each day.
The radiotherapy nurses made him a special certificate featuring
Harry Potter spells (apologies the light is bouncing off the lamination!)
They are incredibly kind and supportive and made a tough time
so much easier.
More beautiful squares have arrived from Anne Riley Davies and...
 Carole and...
Lesley and...
Dee - gorgeous tag with butterfly :)
Thank you so much ladies - they will be joining other squares very soon - literally!

The website monthly newsletter will be going out soon so if you haven't
subscribed please hop along and click a few buttons here
Leading up to Christmas I did bombard your email boxes quite a bit
but it is all calm and tranquil now - occasional newsy emails with class information
and brilliant offers!

The response to the new Spellbinders Tool n' One has been superb.
I'm on the case and have ordered a stock of both the tool and the foam mats,
neither are due to be released and dispatched from the US just yet (I know, big sigh!)
but look out for a pre-order Hope and Chances special offer.

Also a mention that the DCWV - Juniper Berry paper pads are now in stock and
can be found here - I received some enquiries for these papers after I created
my Resolutions Notebook.
STOP PRESS: they have just sold out!!
If you would still like these papers just drop me an email :)
If there is a particular die, papers - anything craft related that you seek and it isn't on the
website then please let me know, I offer an ordering service and I can normally
have the item in your crafting hands in less than a week.

Now for a crafty creation....
I've gone for bright a bright summery cheerful card, I thought it might drive away the rain!
Featuring those favourite Jewel Flower and Flourishes and the background
is A2 Fancy Postage Stamp - the holes are handy for ribbon threading.
On Monday Elliott is going to start working with me,
watch out on the website for a flurry of new sliders/banners - he's brilliant at those.
Also, he is very keen that I do a lot of craft videos so they will be appearing.

Wishing you all a brilliant weekend.
Take care friends.

Morning Christine,
Those Nurses sound wonderful and what a great Certificate for Elliott to keep. Good Luck to him in his new role, will be keeping an eye on your Website. Your card is also stunning I love the floral backing paper you have used. Wow you must have a huge stock of knitted squares, unfortunately I cannot knit, only crochet. Have a lovely weekend.

Morning Christine, A fabulous signed Certificate, how lovely those Nurses are.
I love your bright and cheery card, with your favourite jewel flowers, such a welcoming sight on this dank, drab, day. Yesterday we had a tiny bit of sunshine then the heavens opened and we had torrential hailstones, horrid. I'm fed up with Winter, bring on the summer sunshine, I say haha.
Looking forward to Elliott's input on your Blog.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

It is so great that you have had a huge weight lifted and there is a hope of the life that you had planned returning.
Looking forward to spotting Elliott's contribution to your web site.

Oh my word....you must be surrounded with knitted squares! How kind of everyone. Lots of sewing to do
then 😉
How nice of Elliot's nurses to make the certificate for him. He as well as you must be relieved it's all over. I'm sure the other appts won't seem too bad in comparison.
I love your card today, lovely Spring colours! Can't wait for that season to arrive.
Have a good day.

So glad my squares arrived safely - I want the tool and mat, so far, can only find sites willing to take orders in advance for the tool, but not the mat!

Well done to Elliott, he must have some nice additions to his scrap book, as he moves through the treatment.

Hi Christine, just taking a break from the washing and ironing(after unpacking!) to read your blog. What a super certificate from the nurses Elliott. Love your card today Christine, reminds me of the sunshine I have just left behind!! I'm looking forward to the pre order details for the tool and mat. Take care, love and hugs to you all,

Hi Christine. What a great certificate Eliott. you certainly deserve it : ) I love your bright and cheerful card Christine, the sun and warmer weather can't come quick enough for me! Then again, be thankful it's not too cold at the moment over here. Niagara Falls have frozen!!! There is always something to be grateful for isn't there. (I would love to see the frozen Falls though, have been lucky to see them once in summer, just can't imagine that amount of fast moving water freezing!) Take care.

Hi Christine
So glad things are getting back to some sort of normality for the Emberson household.
I think knitting the squares has been easier than the sewing together that you and your team have to do, you are collecting quite a few! Looking forward to seeing pictures of the final products.
The certificate is such a great idea, and so well deserved, Elliott has certainly charmed the hospital staff.

Hi Christine - I always seem to be catching up with blogging these days. I am another one who often checks out blogs but can't always leave a comment. Possibly 'cos I do tend to waffle once I start - yup tis true!!!

I just wanted to say how pleased I am for you all that Elliott has finished his RT. His smile says it all in those pictures.

I loved my new kit by the way and am very pleased with the results gained.

Lots of luck to Elliot in his new job. The Cert. should be put on the wall!!! Yay.

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx
