The class that never was!

Hello friends

Just stopping by to say all the kits have now sold and huge thanks to
those who have purchased.
I'm back tomorrow :)

As you all know my life has taken a very different turn these last
few months, many things I had planned simply had to be put on hold,
cancelled or forgotten.
One of the cancelled items was a class that I intended to do at my studio/shop.
An Autumnal project - a burlap and felt wall hanging.
This project was inspired by fellow design team member
Tina McDonald and in fact she was with me in Arizona when I was buying
the supplies so I had professional advice, literally on hand!

I decided that rather than package up all the craft goodies till next year I would offer
it as a kit and add the proceeds to our ongoing charity fund raising
for Ronald McDonald House, Camberwell.
There is only 7 kits available as I purchased just enough supplies for one class.

The project is created with Grand Peony Creations, Foliage, Font One Uppercase,
felt, buttons, burlap, ribbon and more.

The kit has everything you need, pre-cut and with full instructions.
You just need a large sewing needle and adhesive,
I would recommend a fabric glue, Fabri-Tac is good.
Some close up pictures of those lovely flowers.
Buttons look sweet finished off with a 'X' of embroidery thread.
The price of the kit including postage and packing is £16.50.
I do only have the 7 kits available at the moment so it would be first come first served.
If you would like to purchase one please email -
christine.emberson@blueyonder.co.uk

(I was going to insert a PayPal button but got in a right pickle organising the
inventory section of PayPal - why do they make things so complicated?!)

Before the end of the year I do plan to do a class, I really want to open up my
little studio shop at least once so it will be a very festive one!
More details coming soon.

Take care friends and as always thank you so much for your support.

Hi Christine. We never know what life is going to throw at us do we! What a pretty kit, I think you will sell all 7 very quickly. It's just the wrong side of payday for me I'm afraid : )
No doubt you will get to open your studio this year, and a good time will be had by all. Think of what you have achieved this year already. Your lives may have taken a different turning but you have all stayed positive and got on with it! Anyway, enjoy the weekend. Take care.

Fabulous project. With each new day we get stronger and never know what's going to happen - but the Emberson clan has rallied round and stayed strong.

Hi Christine it looks a lovely project and what a clever idea to put it in an embroidery hoop! Hopefully as things settle you will be able to get your life back on course, I think you will be very pleased on Dec 31st to wave goodbye to 2013! Susan x

Hi Christine, I bet you will be glad when 2013 is over with, and Elliott's treatment is over with, and everything will start to be on track in the New Year. No-one knows what is around the corner, thankfully. 2014 has got to be better for the Emberson family.
So sorry about the class cancellation, the project is really lovely, and would have been a fabulous class project.
Have a good weekend, the sun is trying to come out here.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Christine, what a lovely project. I would love to have made this at one of your workshops. What size embroidery ring did you use? I still hope to attend a workshop at sometime in the future. In the meantime, best wishes to you all and still 'rooting' for Elliott. Hope all goes well with his treatment.

Hi Christine.

As you say you never know what life's going to throw at you. The Emberson family just buckled down and got on with it. A lovely kit shame and I'm sure you will sell them very quickly. What a shame I live to far away to come to a class.

Lovely to see the way Spellbinders can be used so effectively with fabrics too. Hope you have a good weekend Christine. Anne x

Hello Christine, This is a great kit and would have made a lovely class. Still as I'm far to far away for a class and yet would like to support you and your family, I'd better get on the email and buy a kit. Bet there aren't any left by now. xxMargaretxx

Hi Christine, you are right - we never know what life is going to throw at us but you have all been so positive, which is half the battle. This is a gorgeous kit, which I am sure is sold out as I am so late commenting - otherwise I would have bought one! Carole Z X
