What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!

Welcome again to WOYWW - aren't Wednesdays great now! I hope you all had a great week and thank you for all your kind comments - I love them!  Remember to visit Julia for all the info about WOYWW.

This week - I made a start on the Christmas cards and after just one I got bored!  In theory this card making is good but I should really admit that I'm a definite scrapbooking girl.  I'm hoping to go back to the crimbo production line but I fear I could talk myself out of it!   I did manage to photograph the desk mid-production line before I cleared it all away and started on a layout!

Have a good week everyone :-)

I'm not a card maker, either. I just can't get into it. What amazed me when I first came to your blog today was the infusion of color outside your window. Those oranges and yellows really set the stage for fall, which is probably in the air where you are. I really love the view from your windows and would never leave if I had that view. Happy WOYWW.

Have you tried making cards like you do a scrapbook? Only more tiny....

As a cardmaker first and foremost, I have to say that production lines suck (and I've done too many sets of wedding stationery for my own sanity!) but if you head over to somewhere like Sketch Saturday, it may help with the inspiration and make you think of a card more in the terms of a mini LO.... TFS!

I am a scrapbooker first but I absolutely love making cards too, in fact, cardmaking seems to be taking over at the moment!

Love all the flowers outside your window :)

Hi
I would not worry about the Christmas cards, my advice would be to just get on with what you love best. Anyway, what ever you decide to do, just have fun.
Take care

Love the view from your window-good job I face the wall -I'd never get anything done if I had a view like that. So your DS has started sixth form-wait until he has nearly as much grey hair as you(if you have any). Blink and you will be even more amazed at how quickly it flies by. Hugs BettyXXX

Great creative desk there - I have started some Christmas cards too although mine are to teach at workshops so I need them done early! I also tried to start some as early as January so I have a pile of about 10 done but its hard now when the sun is shining isnt it! have fun scrapping instead and buy some is my advice!
