Framed by Carole!

Hello everyone

Today Angel Carole is back with another idea using the
Create A Gerber Daisy die set.

Carole has created a beautiful frame.

Carole is sharing with us her thoughts on making her projects.

Having got to grips with the faffing and fiddling of cutting all the
individual pieces and assembling each flower of the Gerber Daisy,
I absolutely love this die. There’s so much that I want to do with it.

This time I thought I’d try an oriental look.
I cut a few stems of black bamboo from my garden and used a
lovely piece of paper that Elliott sent in my Angel’s bits and bobs.
I also had this little oriental label die in my box which I’d never used,
but it had been parted with its packaging,
so I’ve no idea what it’s called, but I love the result.

The frame is a Ribba box frame from IKEA which I took
something else out of to recycle, but they’re quite inexpensive to buy.
I usually have a couple lurking in my cupboard.

Hope you like it!

Happy crafting! C : ) xx

Ingredients used:

Oriental Tags Three
Pretty paper: Anna Griffin
Variety of cardstock

Create A Gerber Daisy has just gone into the Autumn sale - silly price!

Autumnal Inspiration from Sam

Hello everyone

Today Angel Sam is sharing with us another wonderful card using
Leaves A Fallin'

Leaves A Fallin' is a decorative card front die so there's an outer border
rectangle and an inset die with Autumnal leaves.

Sam has chosen to snip out the leaves which makes this die so versatile.

Her step by step guide:

Use a piece of watercolour card and colour with Distress Inks -
Walnut Stain, Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo, Fossilized Amber.
Spritz with water and wipe through.
Use this card to die cut with Leaves A Fallin' and emboss.
Highlight with gold gilding wax.
Add Glossy Accents to all the leaves and wait until dry.
Snip out the leaves and  use them to decorate the splattered card background.
Add sentiment.

Leaves A Fallin' is available on the website here.

Thank you Sam and please check out Sam's blog Craft Room Delights.
