Media Mixage™ Part 2

Hello friends

Today our chat continues with Spellbinders™ Media Mixage™ Part 2 

(there may be some more parts to follow as I would like to break it down into bite size craft pieces).

I'm showing a project that you may have seen before but it works well to explain

a little more about bezels, dies and particularly ICE Resin®.

Here are bezels - Triangles One - pictures with matching dies - Triangles One.

These are referred to as 'hobnail' bezels with the design around the outer edge, 

they are available in bronze or silver finish.

I have cut/embossed paper and placed it inside the bezels - you are guaranteed a perfect fit.

I've chosen to add a rose charm (I keep using these!) 

and another small die cut secured with a 3D foam square.

Now this is where it is like playing chemistry lab!

It is dead simple - the resin comes in a double syringe so that you dispense the same amount

of each liquid equally.  You squeeze a little into a plastic cup.  You don't need too much and you can 

pop a cap (supplied) on the end of the open syringe to use the remaining resin later.

 With a lolly stick you mix...and mix...and mix!  

At least two minutes, use a folding motion - a little like mixing cake batter.

Some little air bubbles will appear - do not worry, this is normal.

After at least two minutes mixing set it aside for about five minutes, the bubbles will then disperse.

 Using your lolly stick to assist, pour the resin into the bezels.  

Set the bezels aside to dry, preferably overnight.

This is how they looked the next day, the resin is rock hard.

My design is very simple but there are so many options.
