Friday Die Day

Hello friends
It is Friday ..it's 5 o'clock and it's Crackerjack!!
Does anyone else remember that programme or is it just me showing my age again?
Well, one part is correct - it is Friday and that means Friday Die Day.
This week I am delighted to show you Gold Labels Four.
Labels Four has always been a favourite of mine because of its elegant shape and knowing that they
will work alongside Gold Labels Four is brilliant news -
(it is what Spellbinders refer to as 'building on the core').

You receive 5 die templates with this set and because they are part of the Imperial Gold collection
you get the added bonus of deboss too.
You can cut, emboss, deboss and stencil.
This is how they look cut/embossed and debossed.
The return of the tag - spotty paper - My Mind's Eye - Follow Your Heart.
I've used the largest die cut to place behind.
I've also rounded the bottom corners of the tag.

  Layering up further die cuts.
Keeping it simple and butterfly-ish! Les Papillion Two.
I then found a butterfly charm to add too.

A close up picture - elegant and pretty.
Other news:
Yesterday - quite a few questions regarding Media Mixage.
It should all be arriving in the UK later this month and I will be stocking bezels, dies, blanks and ICE resin
(the little pots and lolly sticks too!)
I'm hoping the new website with shop will be emerging soon (I've threatened it enough haven't I!)
It should be much easier to browse and purchase items then - I promise to keep you all posted.
In between, always feel free to email me with any questions.

Have a brilliant weekend.
Take care friends.

  5. These are the most gorgeous dies ever.... and I have used them for the 'save the date' cards for my sons wedding in December. Haven't quite finished them all yet, but with a little help from the girls we should have them done soon... we chose these because they don't need any embellishments (well a pearl or two). Just when you think Spellbinders have done it all they still keep bringing out more lavish and intricate dies :).
I adore your tag it is beautiful and of course a butterfly to finish it off.... just perfect :).
Thankyou for your reply to my question yesterday... it was a big help.
enjoy the rest of your Friday ,

  23. Thank you again for today's post Christine. Its so good to be able to see what dies look like before you inevitably put them on your @I want@ list. Love the tag, really pretty.
I used to watch Crackerjack and I can remember Eamonn Andrews introducing it before Leslie Crowther and Peter glaze. Cabbages galore, fun times xx

  24. Stunning! Your tag (as always) is beautiful and the tutorial spot on.
Cracker Jack used be a favourite with me too~ not that I watched it~ it kept the children occupied whilst I got tea ready!

Your work as always is brilliant. I don't get these new emboss deboss dies from Spellbinder. By definition if a die embosses it must deboss, I feel I am being blinded by science, as a selling ruse. This of course does not detract from the beauty of the dies.

  26. Your tag is lovely! I think I "need" this set of dies now!

  29. Christine, what a surprise.... a butterfly has found its way onto your tag LOL !!!!. Beautiful as always. I don't know if anyone else has said this but I don't think I like the gold dies. To me they look as if there are bits missing that haven't cut out properly. Perhaps I need to see them in the flesh a bit more to see then in their true colours. Take care and have a wonderful weekend. Janice xx

  39. Good evening Christine,
Yes I remember Crackerjack, the game where you had to hold loads of things including a cauliflower! Totally bizarre, but much more interesting than the kids tv these days! Gosh listen to how old I sound!! Haha
Love the tag, (thanks)!! I will have a go at that one.
Online shop sounds great, although I am happy with the wat you work it now, totally amazing prices by the way everybody!,
I am off to get my tags out,
Crafty hugs for a fab weekend,

    Hi Christine,

I was a lover of Crackerjack also and so wanted a pen (it was always in a lovely box). I have got this set of dies but have to say am a bit disappointed with them as I think I prefer more cut detail than extra emboss/deboss. Actually wondering if I am using them correctly!! Mine seem a bit flat somehow. Yours look lovely as usual. Enjoy your weekend.

  41. I wasn't around when Crackerjack was on, so have I been missing things??
I also have the die but haven't used it yet because I'm waiting for delivery of the junior magnetic plate. SB say that this should be used with the Gold products. Perhaps that is why Maddie's cut dies seem a bit flat to her?
    Have a lovely weekend, Christine.
