Friday Die Day...Giveaway!

Hello friends

This Friday is a Die Giveaway Day and as Halloween is looming
I have themed dies to send out to two lucky winners.

Jack O Lanterns

and Candy Corn

Really simple, just make sure you are a blog follower and leave a comment.

If you celebrate Halloween it would be nice to know what you do.
When the boys were younger they used to dress up and go trick or treating,
they would come home grinning from ear to ear with their goodies -
there were a lot more treats than tricks!

Have a good weekend, as soon as I'm organised normal FDD's will resume!

Take care friends.

  2. Hi Christine, love the pumpkin faces. We have been growing pumpkins for a few years now, but they are not as big this year, probably due to the dry summer. However, the grandchildren still get a lot of pleasure from helping their dad carve out funny faces. Anne x

  3. Lovely dies Christine, loving the pumpkins. As my boys are the same ages as yours we don't do it any more, but when we did we used to dress up and go trick and treating, we used to go to parties at my friends house and have parties at ours. We have also been to the local community Halloween party.I love how it has got much more popular now, lovely to see all the little ones dressing up xx hazel

  4. The pumpkin dies look great. We haven't really bothered with Halloween but we usually Facetime our relatives in Florida & the kids show us their costumes & buckets of sweets(candy)!

Halloween isn't really that big an occasion over here but I have fond memories of my children Trick or Treating.

  9. Morning Christine, Loving the faces on the halloween pumpkins, they are really comical. We used to get quite a lot of children knocking, but they have been diminishing year by year, last year we hardly got any.
Have a good weekend, albeit 'packing and stacking', but it will all be worth it when you are sorted.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  16. Good morning Christine,
    How was the dinner?
We used to do the same as you, dress up the children and walk the round, I guess we were lucky as we lived in Married quarters, so children just went round there, which was safe, they used to love it, sweets to last a month, which children wouldn't.
As they got older my son used to decorate the front of the house, using his smoke machine etc, he had more fun doing that, we used to make green spaghetti for children to put their hands in etc, now they are all older we don't really bother so much, I don't mind the little ones coming round early on, but we had too many older kids asking for money and even cigarettes to my shock and horror!
I hope you have a great organising weekend, I look forward to all of your progress pics, hope the weather stays dry enough for you.
    Crafty hugs to all,
    Sandra xxx

  17. Hi. Christine
My kids used to dress up and knock on neighbours doors. I always still do a range of pumpkins (sometimes even grown by me!) for the front door to entice the local youngsters to call. I wear a witches hat to answer the door if they are slightly older children Best wishes , Anne O

  18. OOH I am such a Halloween fan I would LOVE to win these! I didn't know there was a candy corn die, whilst over in the USA these images are everywhere, they ae harder to find here. I am very much in Halloween mode at the moment, making lots of decor and I always decorate our porch and front garden, When my friends kids were young, we used to host Halloween Fancy dress parties, such great memories - and I have spent some fab 31st's with my family in US! Thank you so much for the chance to win some halloween themed Spellbinders - The pumkin ones are fabulous. Sam is nearly 18 and still loves Halloween although now he prefers to enjoy it fancy dress down the pub. I remember when I used to take him round the houses trick or treating - he used to love it and so did I. Have a lovely weekend.

  23. Hi Christine,
My eldest is past the Halloween thing, but my youngest will still probably dress up and go trick or treating and then maybe have a few friends round to his shed! (Like you, he has a little cabin at the side of the house to 'chill in' as he says, but it's not double glazed or anything...he wishes!)
Love the cute little pumpkin dies and thanks for sharing! Hugs, Lisa x

  25. Hi Christine
Thanks to the chance to win some Halloween stamps. We don't really celebrate Halloween now, although my partner used yo put on a horrible face mask and claw hands. He used to answer the door to the children who knocked for Halloween.

  26. hi Christine - re Halloween my kids used to dress up and went guising - - they had to do aparty piece when they went to someone's door and got a treat afterwards. I think this has now gone out of fashion and the more americanised trick or treat is what happens here too now. Great Friday die giveaway :)

  28. Hi, Christine, I've been missing, due to a lack of broadband connection (8 days!) so I've missed a lot. My daughter decorates her house for Halloween, even though the grands are all grown up, but I live way in the country, so I don't bother. (getting oo old too!)

  31. Love the pumpkins Christine, so seasonal at the moment. I haven't got anything 'halloweeny' in my craft stuff.
The grandchildren seem so much more geared up to Halloween these days and just love dressing up.
