A Crafty Space

Hello friends

While I am recreating my new craft space I thought I would share photos of
Toni's beautiful crafty cabin.

This is what Toni has to say about her special place...

"My hubby fully insulated the building with MDF and insulation and we had full electrics fitted too so it's very cosy in the winter and beautiful 'to be in the garden' in the summer. It also means I can just shut the door on the mess if I'm in the middle of a project and don't want to clear it all away."

I'm hugely impressed with how much Toni has put into her space,
so tidy and organised - it has really inspired me to utilise every surface, put up shelves etc.
Also love the outside lights... I think I 'need' some of those.
Thank you Toni for sharing your brilliant space with us all.

It's not too late to share your craft space/room/cabin/dining table!
Please send along your photos to hope-chances@live.co.uk

More sorting today and then dressing up for the Youth Achievement Awards
event this evening.  It's a lot of work getting togged up - hair, nails, altering my dress -
good job I don't do posh often!

Take care friends - enjoy your weekend.

  2. Good morning Christine,
Toni's cabin, wow what an inspiration for you, the outside lights are a must have, you could use them like the queen does the flag a Buckingham Palace, lights on Queen of Spellbinders is in residence, lights out she is 'on the road'!
I hope you and Elliott have an amazing time tonight, he deserves so much, given his achievements over the past year or two, putting aside how unwell he was feeling to raise money to help others, quite a remarkable young man! I hope you both have an amazing time, although I am with you on the whole getting dressed up thing! Photos please!

Wow what an amazing craft space. I am amazed how much Toni has fitted into her cabin. It looks so organised. I am now looking at our shed with fresh eyes. Not sure how happy my hubby will be if I move into his space. I love the fairy light too. They are definitely a must have for your cabin.
I hope all goes well tonight. I am sure all the prep will be worth it. Fingers crossed for Elliott.
Enjoy your day and especially your evening.

  5. Hi Christine, I love Toni's cabin, she has it well fitted and cosy. All those shelves and drawers, I could find things there that seem to dissapear in my craft space. Mmm how big is my garden? Have a lovely evening with Elliott, the effort will be worth it!

  25. Hi Christine
Wow Tina I love how you've done your cabin, especially the unit you have your pens in. I wonder if it was made or bought? As I think it's fantastic, and congratulations to whoever made it if someone did.
Hope you and Elliot have a fantastic time tonight, Elliot so deserves it. He was so ill and you both thought of others.
    Pics please if possible.

  26. Hi Christine and everyone who has made such lovely comments about my crafty space. So sorry for not responding earlier but I 've been a bit tied up over the past few days and I've only just seen the post. It was just an 'off the cuff' dream idea that I suggested as a possibility and after a little bit of further thought and some work for hubby, it became a reality. With regards to the organization, storage and use of the space, this became a necessity when I kept buying more crafty bits and was slowly getting buried underneath it all..ha ha.
Pat, the unit for my Promarkers, I made this myself from a couple of DVD racks and some empty DVD boxes for the shelves. I saw the idea on the computer and had a go myself. Quite easy to do.
Once again, thank you all again for looking and commenting. Glad to be of inspiration to anyone whose needing some.
    Toni xx
