Technique Sunday!

Hello friends
I know...it doesn't quite have the same ring to it as Friday Die Day...
I'm going to work on a more inspired name!
Nonetheless - today I'm bringing you a little technique using
Scrapbook Adhesives - 3D Foam Hearts 
(although this technique could work on all their 3D foam products).

Firstly when you use up all your 3D Foam Squares do not throw away the pieces of
backing paper.  Use a piece of this to place a 3D Foam Heart on to and then
it is easy to remove and place on your project.
Both sides of the heart are high tack - lift the paper layer and remove.
Sprinkle with embossing powder. 
Shake off the excess. 
Heat with a heat gun/tool, I prefer to keep it on the lower temperature and move
the heat around slowly.  You can see here how it is bubbling and turning metallic looking. 
As soon as the whole surface is shiny, lay it flat and push a stamp into it.
I chose a script stamp but any others would work. 
It leaves an embossed image which looks really effective.
Your stamp will be fine too, no worries of hot embossing powder stuck to it, 
a quick wipe and it is back to new.

I'm going to be experimenting with more of the 3D Foam shapes, especially now
there is butterflies!!
