Hello friends
If you subscribe to Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine you will have seen the free papers this month.
Also remember you can download the papers so you can print them off onto your
own paper/card. This is one of the papers featuring coffee, tea and cake.
Because it was a busy paper I kept the card very simple using Asian Accents to create
a lace border at the bottom and a single strip of white card with a row of gems.
The sentiment is stamped onto Framed Tags One and larger gemstones added.
A sprinkling of punched butterflies to finish.
Reminds me of sunny days and picnics...we can wish!
Wishing you all a lovely Sunday - keep warm and safe everyone.
Love the card, and love it even more when you feature dies that I already have!

Love the card Christine. Which butterflies are they please I need a smaller one. At present I'm making a selection of cards to display in a victorian tearoom my 3 nieces have opened and this would be just perfect (I think I'll have to go shopping!!)

ReplyDeleteHi Christine
ReplyDeleteHow you transform a piece of paper into a lovely card is amazing. I would not have had a clue what to do with this busy pattern you truely do inspire.
Thank you for your help and advice yesterday.
Barbara
Love the colours in this card Christine, Yellow makes everyone think of spring. I don't mind if we don't have a spring... providing that we can go directly to summer and not back to winter!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good Sunday.
Janice xx
P.S I have looked at you tube for inspiration on the carnation creations...thanks for that. Would it be possible to ask spellbinders that when they create a new flower die that they have a photo of what they think the flower will look like when put together? A advice sheet would be welcomed too!. When you buy a flat die it's sometimes difficult to know how to construct into the finished bloom or how many of each layer to add. Thanks Janice xx

ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Christine,
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful card, i got those papers so will have a go today, thank you!
I am sure this time last year we were in the midst of a 'heatwave' so picnics were very possible! we could still picnic, but it would be flasks of warm spicy soup and thick hunks of granary bread, with steaming creamy ht chocolate!
Warm Snuggly hugs to all,

ReplyDeleteHi Christine, sorry I am late today looking at your blog it has been a busy day. My grandsons 7th birthday party. It was such good fun.
ReplyDeleteYou are really trying to coax Spring to come with another spring like card Christine but to no avail as yet. The paper is not my cup of tea (sorry no pun intended) but you have done a lovely job with it.
The wind is biting here making it feel colder than it actual is. Where is Spring - come on haven't we had our fair share of winter now??? The clocks go back next Sunday I think.

ReplyDeleteHi Christine,
