Mosaic and Matting

Hello friends

How was your weekend?
Mine was a mix of crafting, cooking and keeping out of the sun.
At home we are living in a twilight world with curtains closed
and stepping over cats who are cooling on the tiled floor!

Today's crafty offering is a mosaic heart made with 3D Foam Squares.
I had fun making this, heat embossing 3D Foam Squares is really
easy and they look so effective, possibly the pink ones look a bit
marshmallow like?

I have a full step by step tutorial for my card over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
blog here if you fancy taking a look.

I used 3D Foam Squares Regular for my project,
you only use about 10 to create this size heart.
All the 3D Foam Squares are available on the website here.

Busy cabin day today as we will be sending out all the Charity Kit orders,
thank you so much for supporting and look out for
the coming months, we've got some really exciting kits coming your way.

Take care friends.

  9. Hi Christine, I've spent the whole weekend staining the panels in my front garden, I still have two more to go and a large one next to the gate, I regret my decision to buy these really intricate fence panels, I definitely wasn't considering staining them in the future hahaha. So today I had a rest from those and have spent the whole day gardening, my green bin is full to the brim and I have only done my whole front garden and just half of my back garden. Lots of garden things are not growing, but the weeds seem to be flourishing haha.
I adore this card, and I would never have thought to heat the 3D squares.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  10. A lovely card Christine. Thank you. Too hot to garden here. No shade. Too hot to go outside the door. Not coping with this weather at all.
