Friday Die Day

Hello friends

Friday already and that means Friday Die Day.

Let's ignore that it is the 13th..only nice things today please!

This week I'm featuring Miss You Swirl, one of the new designs 

by Marisa Job for Spellbinders.

The approximate measurements are:

Outer circle: 4.75 x 4.75 in 11.90 x 12.50 cm
Inner circle: 2.80 x 2.80 in 7.50 x 7.50 cm
Letters: width ranges from 0.125 to 0.5 in 0.32 to 

1.27 cm x 0.56 in 1.42 cm in height

I firstly prepared my square white card base using 6 x 6 Matting Basics, 

lilac cardstock and patterned paper - 

the paper is available on the website here.

Die cut the decorative circle in both white and silver mirror card.

The plain circle from coordinating patterned paper - within the same paper pad.

Affixing the silver die cut behind the white to create a drop shadow.

Placing it on the card front with Crafty Foam Tape.

Here's the little flowers!

Using a combination of distress inks to create a shaded look.

I looped ribbon with twine and added lots of little flowers as if they are 

scattered over the ribbon, pearls to the middles.

Within the die set is the lettering, I chose to use LOVE

cut from silver mirror card.
