Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week's Friday Die Day is not just one die it's quite a few!
This is a celebration of Becca Feeken's beautiful designs.
Having spent time with this lovely lady and hearing the story
behind her die designs - how each one is meticulously thought out,
how they coordinate and more,
I wanted to pay a little tribute to Becca with my card today.
The majority are from the new Romancing the Swirl Collection.

Hemstitch Squares and Curvy Labels.

I've also used Filigree Numbers and A2 Corner Cotillion (for the flowers).

First of all I cut multiple flowers (from A2 Corner Cotillion),
inked them lightly, spritzed with water and shaped.
The hole in the centre makes my current addiction to stamens very useful!

My card base is ivory with a gold mat and a patterned paper mat - Anna Griffin.

Separately, I began to prepare Hemstitch Square and Hemstitch Circle both cut from ivory.

The Trefoil Crest cut from gold mirror card and Curvy Label cut from patterned paper.

Curvy Label inserts beautifully in Trefoil Crest,
you can select how many 'twirly bits' you want to show at the front.

Matted onto the Hemstitch Circle and Hemstitch Square.
All affixed to the card front.

Filigree Numbers added in gold.

The finished card with flowers.
Look...I've even added a sort of bow!

And an outtake photo.
She does like to get involved!
