Friday Die Day

Hello friends

I'm scheduling my Friday Die Day post so fingers crossed you are

reading it at the right time!

This week I'm featuring Nordic Floral.

This is a 5 piece die set and the approximate measurements are:

Tall Flower: 1.10 x 3.00 in. 2.80 x 7.60 cm
Bird: 1.40 x 1.60 in. 3.60 x 4.10 cm
Med Flower: 1.10 x 1.60 in. 2.80 x 4.10 cm
Small Flowers (each): 1.00 x 1.50 in. 2.50 x 3.80 cm
1.00 x 1.50 in. 2.50 x 3.80 cm

To start, I've affixed a silver foil card 6 x 6 mat onto a white card base.

I then die cut multiple tall flowers from white cardstock.

Onto a white card mat I began to adhere them to create a background.

Trim some so that they are staggered and fit.

Tip: once they are arranged and glued down run this through your die

cutting machine with the embossing sandwich - this flattens and seals the design. 

Next, use one of the smaller flowers to cut an aperture into a square die cut.

Mount onto a black card mat square and stamp a sentiment.

Mount this onto a silver foil card mat square and, using the same

flower die gain, die cut from black cardstock.

Insert the die cut black flower into the aperture and colour the fall out petal pieces,

paper piece back into the design.

Affix to the centre of your card with background design (flattened if desired!)

This design only uses two dies from the Nordic Floral set 

so lots more potential for this die set.
