Hello friends
I'm pretending it is not cold and wet outside and instead it is bright
and 'Spring..y!'
Today I'm sharing a card with you using two of the new D-Lites
that are available to pre-order.
I selected a kraft card base and mat.
Die cut Picket Fence with kraft card and inked the edges,
mounted with foam pads.
Stamped a sentiment and then positioned the tulips,
cut twice so that I had green stems and coloured heads.
Added the ladybird, it is a unique species in that it has white spots as
opposed to black!
(Only after I made the card I thought...ok they should have black spots!)
My card only uses a few of the dies from the Lady Bug Garden set,
lots of Springness with the larger flower, leaf, toadstool and walking ladybird.

Take care friends, Elliott and I are packing orders today,
there's still some £5 bargains over on the website and possibly a few
more added...
Have a lovely Sunday.

A lovely Spring card Christine, it's very frosty here in Norfolk this morning, but hopefully it won't be long before we see the spring bulbs making their appearance.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.

Morning Christine,
ReplyDeleteI love this card!! I think we should all use kraft card more than we do as it gives such a great effect. While here, could I ask if I've missed the draw for the December charity kit please?

Hi Christine, what a sweet card. I love that your ladybug has white spots, so cute.
ReplyDeleteWe see more lady bugs in the winter here in NS than in summer, except they are inside. So many that I have to vacuum them from the windows and corners. They are only cute in a garden, NOT in my house. LOL
Hi Christine, A lovely card, and I had to chuckle at your write-up about the ladybug spots haha. I will be glad when Winter is over !! We had snow today yuck, but thankfully then along came the rain which is another yuck !!
ReplyDeleteLots of love from Patricia xx
Beautiful dies Christine and really nice cards. Laura O Springfield
