Friday Die Day!
I've gone horticultural this week and dabbled in a bit of topiary!
Featuring Topiary Treasures.
This is a 7 piece die set and the approximate measurements are:
Round Shrub 1: ¾”
Round Shrub 2: 1”
Round Shrub 3: 1¼”
Shrub 1: ¾ x ½”
Shrub 2: 1 ¼ x ⅝”
Shrub 3: 1 ¼ x ⅞”
Shrub 4: 1¼ x 1⅛”
Planter 1: 1 x 1⅜”
Planter 2: 1½ x 1½”
Tree Trunk: ⅛ x 3⅜”
This how they look cut/embossed.
I've gone for a clean and simple card, this die set would work so well
for male cards. Onto ivory card I've matted patterned paper -
Anna Griffin - Lovely Layers and then some hammered cardstock onto that
with stamped sentiment.
Adhered the trunk die cut into place and added the planter die cut with 3D Foam Squares.
It was then easy peasy - added the shrubby bits!
The finished card.
A close up pic.
Topiary Treasures is available on the website here and, as mentioned,
a great die set for gentlemen and definitely gardeners.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
I'm demoing at Burleydam Garden Centre, Little Sutton in Cheshire this weekend
and because it's another long drive I'm taking my Mum.
Be lovely to see you if you happen to be passing..
I do love visiting all these lovely places but the downside is wherever I go
I want to move there!
Take care friends.
