Springtime!

Hello friends

The start of a new week and delighted to report my first sighting of bluebells.
I was walking Bella in the woods on Saturday and espied them -
I love seeing the new growth and knowing Spring is definitely here.

And this is something wonderful too...
Mum and Dad have a camera in their bird box again this year and here is a very
diligent mummy bird protecting her....
 seven eggs!
This 'bird watching' is a little addictive!

Today sharing a flowery scrapbook page, the photo was taken a few years ago!
It's a very geometric design and I tend to favour these more and more.
It features Eyelet Circles, Anemone Flower Topper and Foliage dies.

Thank you for the kind messages regarding Elliott and his impending MRI scan.
It was following a comment from Linda on my blog (thank you so much Linda!)
that there is an opened sided MRI scanner in Newcastle that I've decided to investigate further.
I am currently awaiting news from his consultant at The Royal Marsden as to whether
Elliott can be referred to a different hospital - we are keeping our fingers crossed as he
needs fairly frequent MRI scans.

Take care friends - I'm back in my cabin today busily and happily crafting.

I do hope your doctor is successful, I know that the open sided scanner would be so much easier for Elliott. Ours in Newcastle is in a private clinic but takes NHS referrals which is how my husband go to use it.
Love the wildlive pictures. We have no bluebells yet but in our garden the tulips are in full flower and are so beautiful,I feel a photo card coming on.
Love and hugs to you all

  9. Morning Christine,
I do hope Elliott's consultant can help, it will be so much easier for him to endure. My garden is full of Tulips at the moment, they seem somewhat late this year but look beautiful. I also made my Charity kit yesterday, and eagerly await the follow on kits.
    Take care

  11. Good Luck with your search for a scanner, there must be one in London. Also, I might have mentioned this before, try to find somewhere that can train Elliott in Autogenics. It's a relaxation technique involving self hypnosis and it is really powerful. I was trained by at my GP's surgery a few years ago and it sends you to sleep if you want it too!

  18. Loving all the photos Your one of bluebell made me smile because I know Spring is here when husband moans at mowing the lawn and then complains that it's started his hayfever off And then moan a couple of days later that the lawn is festooned with daisies and dandelions! I hope you are successful with moving Elliot's MRI and don't have to wait too long either Lovely scrapbook page not over fussy and does what it says on the tin My son successfully bred some zebra finches when he was about 10 and said that it was better than watching tele!

  19. Hi Christine
Spring has definitely sprung over Easter. The bluebells in my garden are a little behind yours in the South but about to burst into life at any moment.
Love the scrapbook page and I hope Elliott is able to transfer hospitals to make the scans easier (if that is possible).
    Take care
