new Spellbinders die cutting machine.
I do have a little more information - take a look here -
Cut@Home blog have more photos and a video too. Well worth watching as you get
to see the inside of the machine and believe me...it looks super strong!
I have made a note of all the questions and as soon as I have even more information
I will be definitely be answering them all.

A while back I was able to lay my hands on some retro Spellbinders dies,
I'm still trying to obtain some more and I will keep you posted.
In between revisiting a project using Charms and Rods.
A retro die set featuring little frames which I adore.
I cut/embossed them using Craft Foil.
I put together a simple card stringing the frames on twine and adding tiny flowers and leaves.
The scalloped edge is achieved by using Classic Edges One.
I have just one set left on the website - available here!
Back to City job today (seriously...it comes around way too quickly!)
Stop by tomorrow please...it's Friday Die Day!
Take care friends.
Hi Christine.
ReplyDeleteThank you, these look lovely little dies. Have a good day take care Kitty.
Hi Christine. I love the card, really easy to make. And the frames look so like metal. What a great set of dies. Have a good day in the city. Take care.
ReplyDeleteLovely card, very pretty. Thanks for the link to the new Platinum machine, can't wait til you get some more information.

Lovely card today Christine, great little frames. I'm really liking the look of the new machine, do you know if it cuts more equally across the cutting surface of the plates rather than being better at the at the sides (I hope that makes sense)?
ReplyDeleteTake care

Lovely die set Christine and great creations too. I have a question about the new GC it has probably already been asked but just in case what is its weight. xx hazel
ReplyDeleteHi Christine,
ReplyDeleteLove your card today, the little frames are really nice.
I hope you have a good day in your City job. Take care. x.
Pretty frames, but a little too small for me I think. As for going to work, I expect it's a mixed blessing - you are out of home for a few hours, but you have to do the work, but you get paid for it!
ReplyDeleteStill hoping for my die to arrive today, I don't think the postmen went out yesterday, because of the snow. At least, he didn't come near me.
Morning Christine,
ReplyDeleteA very pretty and easy card to make.
With regards to the new machine, it looks great, I was going to buy an E-Bosser, but I think I'll wait for a bit and have a better look at this one, especially as you will be able to add an electrical attachment.

Hi Christine, gosh lots of news in a week. I like the look of the new dies, they have made a lovely card. The new machine looks intriguing .

Pretty card today. The dies look great cut with foil. Good luck travelling to London in this awful weather. Wind and rain noise kept me awake half the night - feel like 'death warmed over' today. Thanks for the info on the new machine, but I must say it's so cruel of Spellbinders to entice and then only release a trickle of detail at a time :)
ReplyDeleteHi Christine
ReplyDeleteLove the card today. The die cuts in craft foil look amazing. I have some craft foil but have only ever embossed it or used it for the Spritely Sprockets set. I think I will have a play with other die sets and see what I can achieve.
Take care in this stormy weather
Lesley
I'm sending you a parcel of knitted squares in a blue plastic bag. Sharon Van Baalen
ReplyDeletePretty card today. The new machine looks interesting will be watching closely there are so many machines to choose from!!! X
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, The Platinum looks a brilliant machine, I hope the handle is more substantial than the GC one, I've broken 3 of them hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your little card, the frames look fabulous.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Hi Christine
ReplyDeleteAs always you use a set of dies and produce a lovely card. I don't think I've ever seen these ones before.

Lovely card Christine, lovely set of dies too! hugs Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteHi Christine,
ReplyDeleteI like the look of the new Platinum very much, I am wondering what the cutting pressure is like, will you still have to keep turning your due yo get an even cut? I know that my lovely Friend Pat has the new GC and I know that although it is new and improved you still have rotate the dies to get them to cut through, even the 'not so intricate' dies too!
I wonder also what price bracket it will fall into, will it be in the EBosser price range or the standard die cutting machine range around £100 ?
Either way it's nice that we have something new to look forward to.
Hugs
