Hello friends
Still battling with photographing inside the cabin so the first few photos are not perfect but
the finishing ones are not too shabby!
I will get there - investing in some natural light lamps.
It's a card this week and I've chosen a piece of Canvas Corp patterned
paper with a kraft card background. A stamped sentiment to the bottom section.
I've then inserted Sprigs behind the left hand section of the window frame.
I went on to trim away some of the stem and leaves.
I added small flowers and gem stones, red to lighten everything up.
These photos are much better too! Can't beat natural light.
A couple of close up shots.
I raised the window using small 3D Foam Squares.
Window One is currently on sale in the website shop here.
Also check out other dies, there are a few special offers going on :)
While I'm away Elliott is in charge of dispatching website orders, he will do a grand job I'm sure
but still feel free to email any queries, I'm able to pick those up in Phoenix and reply.
Have a lovely weekend - I'm creating, blog scheduling, packing, planning and possibly
panicking because there isn't enough hours in a weekend!
Take care friends.

Hi All.
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely card, have a good trip, take care Kitty.
Have a wonderful time Christine! x
ReplyDeleteLovely card Christine, I have this die and you have just inspired me to get it out and use it today, but maybe a poinsettia will be used to create a Christmas card. Hope you get everything done this weekend and I know Elliott will do you proud while you are away.
ReplyDeleteChris xx
Hi Christine. I love the simplicity of this card, so pretty. Natural daylight works every time, it makes taking photos so much easier, and therefore quicker. Don't panic, prioritize and let the rest wait. At least you can go away relaxed in the knowledge that Elliott will look after dispatch : ) Take care.
ReplyDeleteLovely card today. I'll bet your weekend goes really quickly with so much to get ready but something great to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteMichele.
Hi Christine, how pretty. It can be frantic before going away but I am certain you will get everything done.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic time in Arizona.

Hi Christine, Lovely card, Have a good trip. Love Jean Z xx
ReplyDeleteHI Christine, beautiful card! I mostly use a little portable photo studio..they are quite inexpensive and fold up flat in to a bag...mine came with 4 different coloured backgrounds, two lights and a little tripod (which admittedly isn't much good), but it solved a lot of light and space problems for me, have a fab trip, hugs Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteMorning Christine,
ReplyDeleteLovely card. I'm sure you will get everything done on time.

Lovely card Christine. I have a window die which I have not used yet - must use your inspiration and give it a try.
ReplyDeleteWait until you retire, you wont have any spare time then!!
Have a great trip x
Good morning Christine,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card today, definitely proof that 'less can be more'! I love it x
I am sure you have got a million and one things whizzing through your mind, your boys are both very reliable and sensible, so you can rest assured that everything will be In Very capable hands, plus your mum and dad are close by, which I am sure the boys will take full advantage of, specially at meal times, mind you having seen the lovely cakes that they have created I am sure they are well at home cooking, I think that if you (like me and obviously you) have always cooked and got the children involved in cooking from an early age they have a natural interest in cooking! Doesn't seem to work for cleaning though!
I hope you have a fabulous trip, you have always enjoyed your spellbinder retreats so I'm sure this will be even more enjoyable!
Hugs

Great idea Sue - I don't have that window die, but I do have one of the others, so I can still utilise the basic idea. How long are you going to be away - will you be visiting Spellbinders again? Sorry if I'm nosy, but you get to go to some places I'd nearly give my left arm for (I'm right handed, LOL).
ReplyDeleteMorning Christine, A lovely card, and great inspiration with this die, I have a couple of window dies which I could use in this way, the background paper is really lovely too.
ReplyDeleteI hope you manage to fit in everything you need to do, Elliott will be fabulous with his dispatching duties.
I can't see any problem with the piccies !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx
PS Don't forget to take a 'breath' xx

Hello Christine
ReplyDeleteA lovely card today - the window die is so useful and can be altered for many occasions including Christmas. The photos look good - it is always difficult to take photos at this time of year even with daylight lamps.
Enjoy your weekend, don't work too hard.
Lesley
Hi Christine
ReplyDeleteLovely card today using the window. You'll just have to take your time sorting out your new craft cabin. Your boys are very capable and will keep the orders flowing. At least your mum and dad are. Lose by if they do have Ny problems. Hope you have a fantastic trip, I so envy you.
