The Woodland Cabin

Hello friends

The torrential rain arrived yesterday along with the Woodland Cabin!
But the rain did not stop the building, in one day it was completed.
It arrived in many many pieces on the back of a huge lorry.
 Just some of the pieces...
The building beginning...yes look at that rain!
 The roof going on...
The workmen got so wet that Mum tumbled dried their clothes!
She also kept them warm with plenty of tea and sandwiches.
 Mum and Elliott keeping watch.
That's insulation sheets that went into the roof and floor.
And then it was finished!
Inside...

And the obligatory Bella photo!
I absolutely love the cabin, it will be wood treated soon and then inside will be
divided into a craft room and stock room - I can't wait!

Huge thanks and tons of love to my wonderful parents,
I'm a lucky girl!

Take care friends and stop by tomorrow for the announcement of winners!

  3. Good morning Christine,
Wow wow wow, what a lucky lady, isn't it amazing to have such amazing parents, I am genuinely so pleased for you!
Although I can see you filling that space quite quickly, with all of the lovely goodies from the studio!
I literally can't wait to watch you transform this empty shell into a warm, relaxing, inviting space that you have a natural flare for! Do you have to wait for a dry day to treat the wood? Do you have to do the inside too, as I like the colour as it is, you wouldn't want it any darker! Oh Christine, the views are breath taking, such a 'naturally beautiful' place to relax and craft!
Sending you a big squeeze and one for your Mum and Dad too, for putting such a big smile on your face! What an amazing family xxxxxxxxx

  24. Wow, Christine, I WANT one! Yes, you are a lucky girl. As for the men who put it together in pouring rain, I think they deserve a medal. I particularly love the extended roof, so that you can sit outside in the shade next near, or perhaps even be sheltered from rain in the warmer weather?
