Happy News!

Hello friends

See that smile....that's a clear MRI scan smile!
He does look tired, that's because he had to get up early - we had the pleasure of the M25 first thing!
It isn't until you hear the good news you realise that you've been holding your breath for
what feels like weeks!  Another scan in April and just a few hospital visits in between
so we feel like we are truly getting back to normal now.
Thank you for all your good wishes - they really help.

How about something crafty now!
I'm still sharing the projects made for Let's Make Christmas Cards magazine featuring
the rather unconventional lilac and mauve papers.
I know the colours are not everyone's cup of tea but you can always
adopt the idea with traditional reds and greens.
Create A Flake Five and Layered Poinsettia (of course!) are featured.

Looks like vinyl and rugs for the woodland cabin, a definite winning choice.
Going shopping at the weekend to pick those out.

Take care friends - did you hear about the possible heat-wave?

  3. Hello Christine
So pleased Elliott had the all clear!
Up early waiting for a new Dryer, mine died yesterday aged 25 yrs....that is so good, but makes you complacent that its always going to heat up, which it didn't !on a wet day with two loads to dry!
Anyway... lovely picture of the McDonald and the smiling face Elliott!
    Love the card too!
    Take care

Good news regarding Elliot. He'll be able to start getting back to a normalise life now won't he. I say normalise as he has a few more hospital visits etc to endure. But he's well on the way now.

I like these colours for a festive card - never been keen on the traditional red/green combo.
Hope you find something lovely for your cabin at the weekend.
I fear the aforementioned heatwave comes with a sting in its tail i.e. More rain.
