Hello friends
I am thrilled to say the cabin is virtually finished, all the electrical work is done,
I think I'm organised with all my stock and craft room bits and bobs.
My desk ready to go.
Look - I even have one empty unit space...not for long I'm sure!
I am delighted with how it looks.
I just need to keep it this tidy!
Today's crafty offering - a festive card featuring Frosty Forms.
I made this card a couple of years ago - in the move I've come across lots of projects
I had forgotten about. On this card I have used the waxed paper from the deer
to create a shadow.
Layered Poinsettia features too - seems I've always been a fan!
Other news....
my desktop computer has given up the ghost so I'm back to managing on
a laptop at the moment, I do miss a big clunky keyboard!
Living with two sons who are both very computer minded I am now totally confused
as to what PC to buy - I will need to make a decision soon!
Take care friends and stop by tomorrow for Friday Die Day.
Hi Christine and lovely family.
ReplyDeleteWow that is a lovely work place, I love todays card I shall have a go today. Thank you for showing how you store your inks, your's are the right way up I was told to store them upside down, any way have a good day all take care Kitty.
Morning Christine, I'm playing catch up again! Love, love, love, your cabin, my husband says our gardens not big enough to have one, and don't I have enough room already (double bedroom, part of the spare room and currently the dining table and chairs/floor) he doesn't realise what us crafters need bless him! Lol. Have now made around 200 Christmas cards for my craft fairs, and all are different in some way. Can't believe I managed it. Have a great day. Lynn x

Hi Christine, firstly you now have your home from home all ready and looks really lovely. As for keeping it tidy for me on Friday afternoons are my cleaning chores, although I do Hoover more than that as I inherited a dark brown carpet and love intricate dies!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like plaid card so today's card is really lovely and may do a couple for close friends, so thank you.
Enjoy your new craft room , weather looking good for this weekend so make the most of it.

Morning Christine, sorry your puter has died. I'd advise a replacement with the biggest memory you can afford. As for missing the big keyboard, you do adapt, or why not try and see if your existing keyboard will work if plugged into a laptop. Take it with you when you go to choose and ask to try it that way.
ReplyDeleteOh how lovely your cabin is. So well organised I am sure it will stay that way. Good luck with your new computer I am sure the new ones are super and not as big. Enjoy your crafting time.

Hi Christine
ReplyDeleteA lovely tidy craft house that you have created. I started off with good intentions on keeping the room I use tidy. However all that went by the by. Hope you manage better than me. Lovely Reindeer and for showing us how we can use our wax image

p.s I've loaded all my creations onto pinterest at long last if you want to have a look. xx
Hello Christine,
ReplyDeleteYour work cabin is looking fantastic.
I have a brick build shed in my garden doing nothing but leaking in the rain. I have an electricity supply down there and windows. It would make a fantastic work area, just need to get Christmas over and start saving the pennies. I need the roof fixed and possibly re-plastering inside, other than that, perfect. I hope one day it looks like your lovely working area.
