Tuesday Tip/Technique

Hello friends

I'm a day late asking if you all had a good weekend!
I hope you all did and the weather was nice to you.
It's already Tuesday and I can't believe how the days are speeding by at the moment.

Thank you so much for your Charity Kit purchases, each month the cheques
go off to Ronald McDonald House and The Royal Marsden
and I am so proud that we are all doing our bit to help.

I must mention the knitted squares - I have fallen a little behind in joining all
the squares mainly because of the Summer and it was a tad warm sitting with a
blanket on me!  But with Winter approaching I'm really looking forward to getting back to it.
I will be sharing photos of the finished blankets before they get sent off.

Right...Tuesday Tip/Technique...
Today a reminder for using your dies to create apertures.
Oh look it's butterflies!
I've die cut three of the Les Papillions vertically on a manilla tag.
Stamped over the whole area to make a nice background.
Placed patterned paper behind ...festive!
You could finish your tag here if you wish or...
Die cut the butterflies and insert them over the top.
A trio of fluttering butterflies tag.
Take care friends and I'm back soon.

  1. Hi Christine,
Great tip and tag, I do like the script stamp you have used, I'm off to see if you have it on your website. We are being blessed with the weather at the moment, I hope it lasts as we are off to North Norfolk for a short break next week. I hope Elliott is ok this week and not feeling too tired.
    Take care, Chris xx

  4. Hi Christine
I have so fallen in love with your Butterflies tag , what a lovely use of odd scraps too.
I am a winter Knitter Christine seems to be something in me that says get the wool and needles out, then sit before the fire on a cold dark evening watching the TV.

  7. Morning Christine, Bella looks so cute, lay there on the 'blanket' while you are trying to join the squares, she isn't bothered by the 'warmth' haha.

  13. Hello Christine. You've done it again - reminded me that dies can do so much more than cut something out. I love that tag and really want to have a go, but today is a busy day with my daughter's 18th party looming at the weekend so I shall just have to wait. xxMargaretxx
