Friday Die Day

Hello friends

Another favourite FDD revisited today featuring a window die -
this is Window Two but works perfectly with other window dies including
Window One and Window Four.
The size of the die is 2½ x 3⅝” and this is how it looks cut/embossed.
Tags are definitely back!
I've covered one of the Ranger Manila Tags (currently on sale on the website here)
with pretty paper and inked the edges.
On the reverse side of the window I've placed a further shaped piece of patterned paper.
The view from the front.
Added a little stamped tag with twine.  Love how the window opens.
Tiny champagne pearls make great window knobs!
Attached to the tag with a little lace threaded through.
some tiny flowers and leaves and finished.

The shop re-opens tomorrow after its little summer break.
Have a wonderful weekend, hoping for August weather please not this rainy stuff!

Take care friends.

  4. Lovely tag Christine, I have this die and it's very versatile, you can put a little photo behind it, a landscape or portrait works well too to personalise a card. Chris xx

  6. Great tag Christine - very effective. I have a window die, just not that fancy one, but I think I could do something similar, it's a question of finding the right paper, I think, more than anything.

Lovely tag - I like the idea of putting a patterned paper behind the window and the fact that it opens is great too.
Yes I would like to see some sunshine this weekend, my garden is need of some attention but the weather has been very damp here so I can't get the grass cut. Never mind will do some crafting instead.
    Enjoy your day

  19. Your tags always look so lovely. The pretty paper behind the window gives the die-cut extra oomph! Great for using up 'leftovers'. I have one of the other window dies perhaps your idea will work with that.
