Hello friends
Yesterday a project of mine appeared on Scrapbook Adhesives blog,
an altered heart, I like creating these projects!
All the details are here including step by step photographs.
Please feel free to pop over and have a nose and leave a comment if
you wouldn't mind :)
As mentioned, I do enjoy these projects using wooden items to alter,
there is some smaller classic shaped hearts available here
and now also available is the blank wooden frames to purchase on their own -
these are the ones used in this month's charity kit.
They are portrait style and with a pre-drilled hole.

The photo in the Keepsake Envelope is of my lovely niece Rachel and
centre stage is the impressive Create A Sunflower.
I chose to layer up patterned paper and hessian to add texture.

Hi Christine. What a lovely heart, and a pretty picture of your niece:)
ReplyDeleteI am off to the Scrapbook Adhesives blog now to leave a comment. It has got quite chilly here in Oxfordshire too, I really hope that we get some more warm weather again though, it's far too early for autumn yet isn't it! Have a good day. Take care.
Hello Christine. I think you're right - we have a very autumnal nip in the air today. What a shame as I was loving the hot weather. Nevermind, each season has its charms. Great heart and lovely photo. xxMargaretxx
ReplyDeleteA very pretty hear Christine, the sunflower is such a lovely addition - ours in the garden are looking so pretty at the moment. I hope the hot weather returns before autumn really sets in...we get up really early for the work and it seems that one day we were letting the hens out at 5.30 and now it's suddenly 6.30, hate the shorter days! Hugs Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteMorning Christine, I have my heater on as we speak !!!!! Bring back the lovely sunshine, I say !!!!
ReplyDeleteYour project is beautiful.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
It's a bit better weatherwise here today Christine, but feel like autumn - at this rate, the winter will be VERY long. I like what you did with the heart, I just don't like that long heart shape, I like them shorter and fatter, sorry.
ReplyDeleteHi Christine,
ReplyDeleteLovely design. Yes its pretty chilli here too, guess summer is over at least for a little while, we do sometimes get a good September, here's hoping...
Love & Hugs
