Melt Pot Mysteries...

Hello friends
Yesterday's meltpot classes went brilliantly, all the mystery and techniques surrounding
melt pots were expertly explained by Jennie.
For those of you who haven't taken yours out of the box yet...no excuses now!
The morning class in full swing...

And the gallery of finished Floral Fusion frames - all different and beautiful.

Everyone had the same papers but chose to use different sides so the end results
were unique to each designer.
UTEE poured into silicone moulds to create the lovely button/flower shapes.

The 'porcelain' flowers are Carnation Creations cut from card stock and
dipped in UTEE in the melt pot.
Some gorgeous butterflies...
And an appearance of Sprigs here too!
It was busy productive classes but I'm pleased to say we found time for cake!
I hope to show you how we created the Spellbinders flowers in the melt pot soon...
watch this space.
I also attended the class and hope to finish my frame soon...I was on tea duty!

Thank you to all those that came along.

Take care friends - back tomorrow.
(Kittens VERY lively!)

  2. I was often tempted with one, but I do have a craft dragon with the heat plate, so I COULD simulate this technique with that. Very interested to know about using it in conjunction with the spellbinders flowers dies??????.

  4. Hi Christine, glad you had a great class yesterday - fab makes! I have had mine for 2 years, never even considered leaving it in the box and use it all the time...it's on my desk at easy reach and I have a tub of 'makes' ready to use...great for buttons! Great with beeswax too! Hugs Carole Z X
