Hello friends
Yes Friday Die Day - wow they come around so quickly!
As requested by my Facebook followers, I'm featuring Build A Tag One.
This is one of the new Celebra'tions dies.
It has two different edged tags with two inset pieces that can be interchangeable
in both border shapes. As a singular border shape, it creates a shaped silhouette.
When the border die is nested with the inset piece, it makes a beautiful embellishment.
Used alone, the inset piece creates a wonderful embedded pattern.

This is how they look cut/embossed from kraft card.
The sizes are:
Tag Bracket Inset – 1⅞ x 2⅞”
Tag – 2 x 3”
Tag Chevron Inset – 1⅞ x 2⅞”
Mini Scalloped Tag – 2⅛ x 3⅛”

Mini Scalloped Tag – 2⅛ x 3⅛”
I really like the bracket feature, I've cut a piece of Graphic 45 - Botanical Tea paper
(same papers as yesterday's card) and inserted it between the brackets.
Now my camera memory card had a little fit at this point so jumping to the finished card!
You can see I started with a kraft card base, the embossed pale green background is created
from Celebra'tions Framed Canvas - 3D Embossing Folder.
I then layered up the tags, bit of twine, stamped oval.
The emboss detail of the chevron tag inset is deep and effective.
The flower is from Celebra'tions Enhanced Pennant and I found the brad in my odd box!
Tags, card...ticks all my boxes...just missing a butterfly really!
Have a wonderful weekend.
I'm back tomorrow.

Good morning Christine,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous Die, I always think that I can do without them, then you demo them, bring them to life and then I need them!
Seriously though they look so useful, I have tried cutting my own tags using the guillotine but never managed to get the top part even ! Here is the solution, could be used for tags on gifts or as you have perfectly demonstrated they can be used to make a gorgeous card!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend!
Hugs

I like the dies Christine, but I wish it had been bigger. How large are the ones you decorate on their own?
