Hello friends
Are we recovering from all the thunder storms?
Perhaps we do need those brollies now!
Thank you for the lovely response to the July Charity Kit,
always delighted when the kits are well received and this one
was definitely Elliott's project.

Yesterday this card was featured on the Crafty Power Blog -
a special card that I made for a special lady...my Mum!
All the details can be found here and if you are able to leave a comment that would be super!
The papers used are Graphic 45 - Botanical Tea (very pretty).

I've used Blooms One for the flower feature and Sprigs.
The tag is created with Back to Basics Tags - a die set that never leaves my craft desk.
The wooden hearts are Freckled Fawn - Wood Chip, Hearts - now in stock on the
website - I love these, you actually get 32 in a pack, that's a lot of love!
Elliott created the very nice banner for Freckled Fawn on the website too -
in between kitten parenting.
Enjoy your Sunday, I'm in the shop today working on projects, all will be revealed soon.
Take care friends.
Hi Christine, your card is beautiful and the papers are lovely. We had a great storm here in Norfolk last night, it's certainly cooled things down a bit this morning. I'm going to have a quick look at the Crafty Power Blog now. Enjoy you day.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card today. I have these papers and don't like to use them as they are so pretty and I like to stroke them - should have bought 2 packs!!
The rain here seems to have finally stopped but still very warm.
Off to tackle my ironing - yuck - but the sooner it is finished the sooner I can craft.
Enjoy your Sunday
Lesley

Hello. Goodness me that lightening and thunder was quite something. Luckily none of our animals are in the least bit scared which is a blessing. Love your card today. Such pretty papers. xxMargaretxx
ReplyDeletePretty card Christine, I bet your mum loved it. Not one storm here - just no sun, cloudy skies, and the odd light shower. We are definitely missing the heat that a lot of the UK has had this summer. (but I don't miss the really high temps).

ReplyDeleteHi Christine. This is such a gorgeous card, the papers are beautiful(I will go over to the Crafty Power Blog after this) I be your Mum was delighted with it. We had an amazing hale storm about 5.30pm yesterday! It was hot and humid and we were having occasional downpours then suddenly we had a 3-4 min hale storm in which the stones were 10-15mm big!!! We have never seen anything like it, they were so big, and most were round (where they had been going up and down in the sky before falling, so hubby tells me)I did finally think to get a picture just as it was slowing down into a terrific downpour of rain. A real freak storm, wow-glad I wasn't out in it! It didn't cool the air down much though but it is a bit cooler today. Hope no one got caught in it. Have a god day on your projects, looking forward to seeing them : ) Take care.
