Bag It!

Hello friends

Oh I do like a bag!
I've just taken delivery in the shop of these useful natural hessian/jute gift bags -
they measure 220mm x 190mm x 120mm
(that's roughly 8 inches x 7 inches and 4 inches in depth!)

They are perfect for gifts and for decorating!

I speedily and simply adorned this one with felt Foliage and a fabric Grand Peony Creations.
Remember by adding the Junior Metal Shim you can cut through fabrics easily.
How about red Layered Poinsettias at Christmas....??
The bags can be found on the website here.

I mentioned yesterday that we celebrated my mum's birthday,
I took some photos of the Grandchildren, Mitchell, Rachel, James and Elliott -
very proud of all four of these.
Delighted that Elliott is growing taller thanks to his daily injections.
You can certainly see the difference, just a couple of years ago...

Today I'm working on Friday Die Day before I head off for my City job for
a couple of days - I keep saying it..but where are the weeks going?

Thanks for the ironing tips - I've decided ironing is a little risky right now
with the kittens into everything...any excuse!

Take care friends.

  1. Hi Christine, love the happy family photo, it's good to see Elliott looking so well. The hessian bags look good and are great for giving presents in. I would rather use a bag than wrap a present now, it seems such a waste of lovely wrapping paper.

  14. Hello Christine. Wow those boys look great, along with their cousins, and Elliott has shot up. Isn't it lovely when families come together? What a useful size for the bags. I have the ebosser now as well as the GC and I must admit it cuts through fabric really really well. xxMargaretxx

  17. Good morning Christine,
Wow Elliott has grown, I noticed immediately before I read your comment, I know it has been an enormous struggle, but so worth it to see the difference it has made in all aspects of his life, I had a lump in my throat when I saw his smiling face in equal height to the others! I bet your mum loves having them all round her, nothing beats family days!
Love the hessian bags, simply adding a single flower transforms the bag to a sunny day accessory!
That flower would be great pinned to a jacket, a pair of shoes or even a hair accessory!
Hope the London Days fly by and you are back home ready for the weekend!

    Hi Christine,
I love your bag - and the photo is lovely ............
So good to hear that Elliott is doing great, he has certainly deserved it.
As for the ironing - I don't need the "kittens" excuse , I just use the "save energy" one. (hehehe)
