Hello friends
My blog post for Spellbinders June Jamboree went live recently and
today I thought I would share that project with you - it contains a
handy tip/technique.
It uses Floral Fence but I created a little colourful twist with it....
handy tip/technique.
It uses Floral Fence but I created a little colourful twist with it....
To create the multi coloured layer look - cut lots of die cuts in different colours and start snipping!
It's a good idea to have one white one as the base colour.
You can then layer over the colours that you think work - e.g. brown for fence,
green for foliage etc.
The end result is effective and you've used just one die
and scraps of coloured card!
Floral Fence is available to purchase on the website - all the details are here.
Take care friends and I hope the start of your week is going well.
Hi Christine.A great idea ~ thank you! Hugs,

ReplyDeleteHi Christine. Lovely card, thanks for the tip. I keep dies cut in various colours to make mock ups. I also use a piece of acetate to lay over the top with sentiments, embellishments etc. temporarily tacked on. This really helps me as I'm not good at imagining layouts, colours etc. Have a good day. Take care.

I saw this die recently, but was a bit put off, because there were no measurements and I've been caught out sometimes, with how small they are when they arrive (not just Spellbinders but other makes too). So I ordered a fence die on it's own, that is larger than some of the others. Am I being picky?
ReplyDeleteHi Christine,
ReplyDeleteTuesday tip is great, love this card and your idea.
I hope you have a good day. Take care. x.

Good Morning Christine,
ReplyDeleteI saw this card when you shared the link last week, it's a really sweet little card, I think it would make a great invitation card, especially in those bright colours, a garden party invite!
I agree Lesley it is hard to judge the sizes sometimes, you end up with a pike of dies you don't really use, Spellbinders are usually pretty good at the information side of things!

This is a great idea for using up scraps of which I have MANY. The Floral Fence is a pretty little die and your card is lovely. I'm wondering which of my dies would work using this technique.
ReplyDeleteFab card, fab die, glad I've got mine. Sandra P.xx
