Tuesday Tip/Technique

Hello friends

It is June...why is this wet stuff still pouring out the sky!?

We want sunshine and blue skies but perhaps we will have to make do

with a Tuesday tip/technique!

Vellum!

Think about other mediums you can die cut - vellum is really good.

I've used Rose Creations and cut quite a few layers of petals.

Layered them up and inserted a brad into that middle hole. 

 Pinched the first petal upwards to hide the brad.

 And then continued to pinch, ruffle up the other petals.

 I then began to spray with Cosmic Shimmer/Glimmer Mists.

Pop the flower in a box to do this and it is a good idea to not spray too heavily,

and if you have the time, allow one coat to dry and then apply another.

This can also works on other plastics, have a look at carrier bags,

the supermarket ones are a little thin but other stores have nicer 

quality bags you can craft-cycle!

Today is Spellbinders Intermediate class in the shop and it is a full house,
good job I baked a cake!
