A little delay....

Hello friends

Slight change/delay yesterday with my Spellbinders June Jamboree
blog post - hoping it will be up later today.
Apologies if you were clicking in and out for their website yesterday.

Today I'm featuring a rather vintage and distressed scrapbook page.
This is Imogen (yes rather posh name but she is a very aloof cat!)
I think this is her look when Bella is hogging the limelight.
The layout uses Grand Labels Four, (a smaller one inserted for journalling),
I really enjoying doing these distressed pages, it is a nice touch to really curl the
corners and place a little embellishment under, I chose a butterfly,
a heart would also look sweet.
Also I like to add pearl swirls - I never use a whole one, I'm too frugal!

Rushing out this morning to set up for Knit and Natter and
very much hoping to have a barbecue for Father's Day tomorrow.

Take care friends - enjoy the weekend, what are you up to?

  3. Morning Christine,
Loving your vintage scrapbook Page today. Imogen looks very regal - you have gorgeous pets.
My happy parcel was waiting for me when I got home from work yesterday so I am hoping to find the time to play with them today but I'm off to the hairdresser first thing. Time to make me look like a human instead of a wild animal!!
Hope the weather is kind for your bbq.

  5. Hi Christine. Lovely layout and love Imogen-what a fantastic name for a cat!
Just finished painting my bedroom and off to the shops today to buy a new bed, headboard and two very pretty bedside cabinets I´ve seen. Going the whole hog I also want some new curtains but that will wait for a few weeks. Very excited-my bedroom furniture is from the year dot and it will be lovely to have something new and fresh.
Have a good weekend and a great class today.

    Enjoy your weekend.

  14. Hello Christine
In the beginning..... I bought a few Grand Die sets, and now I find I am using them more, and more!
I love the Attitude of Imogen, cats seem to have a haughty look....like they know something we don't!
    Beautiful Christine!

  23. Good evening Christine,
Lovely layout, I have a new respect for cats since Bella & Milo came into our lives, they now play a huge part in our everyday lives, they makes us laugh and show us lots of love! Your layout really shows Imogen as the star of the page, sometimes there can be too much going on and you can lose sight of the main image!
    My favourite colours too !
I hope you have a lovely day with your very talented dad tomorrow!
    Hugs
