Friday Die Day

Hello friends
Today a favourite - butterflies!
This is one of the newer Die D-Lites™ Outrageous Butterfly.
There are two die templates in the set and here they are cut/embossed.
I chose to cut two butterflies, one in Ivory Linen and one in Raspberry Pink
from Papermilldirect card.  I also cut a small oval.
I layered up the two butterflies but just glued their bodies and heads together.
You will see I have placed an arrow at the middle body - I placed a tiny piece
of pink card behind this.
I cut/embossed a Square Petal Top box from Ivory Linen card, wrapped a piece of
ribbon and placed the die cut oval on the top. 
The butterfly sits beautifully on the top adhered with 3D Foam Squares.
 Elegant and fluttery!
 Superb for table favours.
We are off on holiday tomorrow to Torquay! This is the holiday the hospital organised for Elliott.
I have some scheduled blog posts appearing but I also promise to blog from there when I can.

    There is something so magical about butterflies, and this is a lovely die. The box looks gorgeous just asking to be opened up!

    Hello. This is going to make me feel old but Torquay is famous for Fawlty Towers I believe, so I hope where you're staying is nothing like that! Lovely little project today and the butterflies are so pretty. Have a great time and we shall look forward to seeing some photos. xxMargaretxx

    Great use of dies, Christine. I have several B/fly ones I could substitute. I'm intrigued that no one seems to have commented on their tool n one - I used it yesterday and it worked so well, it should have been invented years ago!
