Friday Die Day!!!! Yes it is back!!

Hello friends
Yes it is the return of Friday Die Day!
I've been wanting to get back to this for ages.
So, without further ado - this week's featured die is Back to Basics Tags

You receive 10 die templates with this set and this is how they look
cut/embossed.
(Photos are not the brightest, hence why there is not loads -
I blame working at 6am in the studio under fluorescent lights when it is still dark outside!)
In the set there is a choice of rectangle, circle, square and oval.
I've chosen to make a tag featuring tags!
A manilla tag as the base with some green and pink patterned paper attached.
I began to position the tags randomly, building up a design.
Until it became a fully tagged tag!
I wrapped around some pink twine, stamped a sentiment and
added a Bitty Blossom with green pearl for a pretty extra touch.

Blank tags cut from patterned and plain paper can be beautiful shapes to craft with.
The die cuts are raised with 3D Foam Squares.

The Back to Basics Tags are available here

I hope you enjoyed the return of FDD.

Returning to City work yesterday was absolutely fine, it felt nice to catch up
with everyone.  Sadly the rain did not stop so my work brolly got a full airing!
Take care friends and wishing you all a brilliant weekend.

  3. Morning Christine,
Wonderful idea with your tags, must have a go. I have this set and would never have thought of doing this with them. Nevertheless they are a very much used and versatile set of dies, and one will nearly always end up on the cards that I make with a sentiment stamped on it. (Do you sleep in your Studio to be there at 6am)?
    Happy weekend to you all.
