More Butterflies...Yes Please!

Hello friends

As mentioned yesterday, I recently created three projects for a Spellbinders Featured Tutorial,
all using the very lovely Butterfly Corner.
This is the 'intermediate' project and I chose to create a little purse,
there is a bag of chocolates inside...I promise you there is, I didn't eat them!
I wanted it to look like a vintage clutch bag and I think this wonderful Graphic 45 - Birdsong
paper truly helps.
Full instructions (that can be downloaded too) can be found here.
Enjoy your Bank Holiday Monday - we are promised a heatwave here in the South East.
I may have to get out and do some gardening....!
I will be back soon with some more projects and the winner of Fanciful Flight.
Also...RITA...not heard from you with regard to winning the Vintage Lace Accents - it appears
I just cannot give this set away!
Hopefully Rita will be in touch soon but if not I will make another draw
next week.
Take care friends.

This is just beautiful.....what a fabulous idea too for giving a gift of chocolates, or anything else come to think of it! It's almost hard to believe it's made from card. The paper you've reminds me of crushed velvet :-))

Another sunny day here too, haven't we been lucky this BH weekend. It makes gardening far more pleasurable!
    Have a lovely day.

I have been gardening all weekend, I have re-seeded the front grass, done lots of planting and even dismantling two sheds with a crowbar, my back is aching like mad, I am feeling my age ha ha. I hope you get some garden time.

  23. What a difference paper can make to a project. Just by choosing a different paper can alter the effect totally. Enjoying the lovely weather.... taken Rolo for his walk early before it gets too hot. Might have to check out the garden chair to make sure safe to sit on for next few hours......Take care Janice x

  25. Wow what a gorgeous project, I love those Graphic 45 papers too!
It's not as sunny as yesterday here in Oxfordshire but it certainly seem warm!
It just makes you want to get in the garden, unfortunately the garden in our new bungalow was left untouched by human hands or lawn mower for well over a year so it's a real nightmare! I will sit and watch while the rest of the clan tackle the wilderness!
Hope you have all enjoyed your extra long weekend. Lets hope that the rest of the week will bring you good news!
You are always in my thoughts Christine x
    Hugs
